BLANKETS
Introduction
How do you best present the blankets? Many retailers find it difficult to present the blankets they wish to sell. It can either be in the window display or in the store. A blanket can have a beautiful design that you wish to show, but a blanket is big and you may have many different designs and colors, which all have to be there. How do you best present the blankets? Here is different ideas, that can help you.

In the store
Make sure that you have all colors and designs on display. Group the blanket with other products in same colors. This helps the costumers see the product in an inviting environment.
Another idea is to hang the blankets on hangers, this makes it easier for the costumers to see and fell the blankets, as they don’t lie in a pile.
The blanket can be displayed hanging on the side of a kids bed, chair, stroller.
The costumers must be able to feel the blanket, so don’t have them lying in a plastic wrap.
You can roll the blanket or fold it neatly.

In the window display
Think out of the box. People notice the unexpected. You can either mix different blankets, colors and design, to create an exciting display, or keep it more simple and relaxed with just the colors of one blanket. When you have chosen the blankets you wish to display, then chose pillows, hangers and other products in matching colors. Remember it is not important to show everything, but rather that you display has a strong image.

The Classic presentation
The blanket can be displayed hanging on the side of a kids bed, chair, stroller.
Important: group the blanket with other products in same colors. Allow the costumers to imaging how they can use and display the blanket at home.

The creative
Use the blanket as the backdrop Make a patchwork design of the different blankets folded. It could be the backdrop. The blankets could be placed on a board that is hanging down. This is a wonderful way to show many blankets and use many colors. Make an exciting design of blankets tied op in different shapes and sizes, which are overlapping. This could be done with strings tied different places on the blankets and then tied to the wall, floor and ceiling.

The theme
Tie a few strings across the window, where the blankets can be hanged on with laundry clips. Hangers can also be hung in between the blankets, displaying a dress or so. Teddy bear or doll can also hang with clips. Think of toys that have been washed. On the floor you could place sand, stones, fake grass, etc. and decorate with toys, seating, etc. products the kids could be playing with in the garden.
Blankets can be fun to use in a theme window display. Summer : Use a backdrop with a photo mural with a beautiful photo of summer. It creates the atmosphere.

Place a kids bench or chairs and decorate with pillows. Hang a branch, where hangers can hang on.

Christmas: fold the blanket and tie a beautiful bow around it, as a gif or group the blanket with other products in same colors.
