Ray Z’s Bible Class

Great Outdoors Community Church Veterans Program Wednesday, November 9, 2022 - 7:00 pm

Please join us for an enlightening program that explores the history and importance of the national holiday known as Veterans Day. Joining the ranks of the traditionally celebrated military branches of previous years will be the Merchant Marines and the Space Force. The highlight of the evening’s program is the Honor Roll of TGO Veterans! More than 200 TGO Veterans are named and depicted. A special off ering will be taken for a veteran’s charitable organization, yet to be named. Refreshments will follow in Fellowship Hall. A Ceremony of Carols is an extended choral composition for Christmas written in 1942 by Benjamin Britten. It is scored for three-part treble chorus, solo voices, and harp. Th e text is taken from Th e English Galaxy of Shorter Poems. It is principally in Middle English, with some Latin and Early Modern English.
