We’ve all heard the one liner, “When I hit 60, things started falling apart.” Or after hearing of a person’s ripe age we quip, “I just hope I am alive at that age!” Well, TGO has three devoted golfers who must have had an in with Ponce De Leon because they are drinking a different type of water than us regular folk. Roger Johnson, Joe Arthurs and Buzz Bromley have been golfing these fairways for a long time. Rather than go age by age, let’s just say they are much more mature than most of us. The threesome has affectionately been dubbed Team 270. Collectively their ages add up to 270. You do the math. Not only are they more experienced than those are around them, their golf games are better than average. You will be hard pressed to find a day where at least one or more did not shoot their age. Recently Buzz shot a superb round of 75 only to be challenged throughout by Joe’s 79. TGO is blessed to have such a distinguished group of gentlemen playing at our course.
