National Hispanic and Latino ATTC

National Hispanic and Latino ATTC The purpose of the National Hispanic and Latino ATTC is to develop and strengthen the workforce that provides addictions treatment and recovery support services to Hispanic and Latino populations across the United States. This will be accomplished by using diverse technology transfer strategies, services, and practices that have demonstrated effectiveness and are appropriate to Hispanic and Latino populations in need of substance abuse treatment services. A close alignment with SAMHSA Strategic Initiatives is explicitly integrated to the development and implementation of a Strategic Plan to ensure Hispanic and Latino populations in need of substance abuse treatment are seen as key and given priority among stakeholders. All Project goals promote the adoption of evidence-based/promising practices and the outcomes of state-of-the-art addictions research.
