AN URBAN INTERIOR
1 FACING THE OLD FACADE A new seating system that faces the long and continous elevation of the main building. These elements are developping along a line that converges with the line given by the imprint of the building.
2 NEW CLOISTER An unconventional conception of cloister is given by closing the area with a new volume that comes from the allignements with the ancient building. The space obtained gives space to a void in the middle, served by a livable stair, that works as an open-air arena. The facades of the buildings around are the perfect background for the stage.
3 URBAN INTERIOR The green system that surround the buildings serves as a filter from the city, and create new interesting scenarios for a fresh perspective from the neighbourhood. A scheme of different pavements allow the users to an easy withdrawal into the site, also defining different functions. The path is further underlined by a system of floor lighting that helps to the reading of the space and the main features of the site.

EXPOSITION AREA FLEXIBILITY
EXPOSITION ELEMENTS The corridor of the first floor is long 123.9 m and is an important element that caracterise the space. Due to its size and also its beautiful window to be preserve, the project doesn’t want to break this characteristic, so the corridor space is totally free. The only element that is possible to appreciate is the Bauhaus seating system by Helen Kontouris as a reference to Alma Siedhoff-Busher. The sofas are modular with free combinations
The frames create the space: the are openings that, through their pivotal point, are movable according to the needs: they can became seatings or be part of the exhibition itself
Art can be the expression for let people discover the disease. The exhibition area of Santo Sepolcro complex expose the products made by patients through Art Therapy. Its exposition elements give the opportunity to have also specific events
The exhibitions element are flexible and according to the events and the exhibition needs they can create different configurations
