I am a graphic designer based in Taiwan. I love art, literature and nature. As a student of literature faculty, I believe design is another kind of language andinterpretation. That’s why I always tried to manage the words and turn the messeges into poetic image.

How to define “human”, in other words, how to define “inhuman”? Is human a species on the biology encyclopedia, or a group of civilization and ethic s. Or barbarian is actually the essence of human? When human is categorized into male, female, mor al , immor al , normal, abnormal……, it makes clear what human is or only to let us find a comfortable identity? The characteristic and belief of one person are formed by the accumulated life experience. People all have been put in dif ferent kind of shapes with
social expectance until they have the identit y of this shape and take it as standard, to divide other people those don’t fit in. Inhuman, is not absolute objec tion to human but a f lexible concept of human, including all possibilities how human could be. The exhibition has three sections, individually present the body and instinct, civilization and repression, and the position of human in environment. Meanwhile, we hope the exhibition could reflect and recall the life experience of the audience.

The Body Feast
Sex organs and sex are naturally par ts o f h u m a n b e i n g . H o w e v e r, i t s e e m s to b e taboo on the moral aspec t and needs to be concealed. T here is a female body with brassiere mark. I combined the image with it s symmetr ic one, and that bec ame a simple shape of labia.
Not Normal
Nor mal is an aver age. S ome people may remove, blank out or repres s themselves to fit into nor mal. I asked a plump gir l to hold a “standard figure� model. The black holes and color ful circles present imper fect and streaming instinct individually.
W hen We Embr ace with Paws
Human, animals, the living and the lifeles s exist as an individual frequency like human’s hear t beat s, the sounds of cic ada, waves of sea. Baby ultrasound gives the direct imager y of initial situation of life.

Project: Mango Flip
About INSPIRING Inspir ing is an education organization based in Tainan. The team members come from different depar tments and colleges. Focusing on Ceng-Lin elementar y school in a remote village, Inspiring brings the courses different from the textbooks, combined with local social structure and culture. Ceng-L in element ar y school loc ate s on Yu-Jing distr ic t f amous for mango pr oduc t. P opulation ageing, population los s ar e the challenge s to this area. Be side s , single-parent f amily, migr ant family and grandparenting are the most common family type here.
Mango Flip Project Based on the education goals, Inspiring design the course with the aim of combine the community development. The funding would be used for the education projects, and the funders could receive the feedback as mango product, kid hand-painted postcard, a map and a real guided trip in Ceng-Lin.

Mango Flip LOGO Mango is the symbolic icon of this area. Nevertheless, our understanding about it can ‌ to the inner side. The idea came from the scene in Ceng-Lin; I turned the scene into vector imagine, put it in the middle of a mango then that composed a face. Cut off the mango, you can explore the different Ceng-Lin.

Illustration The illustration series is based on the exprience in Ceng-Lin, painted for the funding project.

Zine Cover Each issue would be lunched after one semester. It records the process of the courses.
Map The map is one of the feedback for the funder. I've been to Chen-Kin and even lived there several days. I love the people and animal there, and the lovely houses. I picked the place which impressived me the most as the spots on the map.

Senso 蹥 棎 "Senso", adapted from the novel "The Stolen Bicycle" by Wu Ming-Yi, is a drama about the relationship between animal and human during a war. In this drama, actors played elephants that were trained by the army. Without words, actors used exaggerating body language and sounds to present the absurdity of war.
On the poster, I stacked the layers of elephant skin and landscape images and outlined a simple elephant. The brochure could be folded into a square or just keep it as a rectangle.

"What I Learned from Toothache" is a drama produced by Mo-Hey. In this dr ama, wisedom teeth and dental exper ience evoked the memor y of a woman's secret relationship with her father. The tone of this project is sexual, painful, daily, ritual and kind of ridiculous. Thus I use pink and mint-green, the ambiguous color and mudane objects to make conflict on the image. 在時間之內等你 在永恆在剎那 余光中紀念特展 Time, moment and eternal are the important imagery in writer Yu Kuang-Chung's words. His life started from 1928 to 2017, and it crossed over several generations. To memorise him, we used the metaphor of time to represent the spirit in literature. In the exhibition, we introduced Yu's poems, prose and life.

Taiwan Ways "Ways" means the way to find the connection between us and field. Color and elements collected from the street, temple, grocery, market and daily life in Taiwan, composed an imagine of Taiwan, new and old in sync. It represents tradition, hybrid culture and energy.

O-COOK
Co-working and co-living spaces become more common nowadays. With the concept of sharing economy rising, people tend to live in a more eco-friendly lifestyle and reduce the consumption. O-COOK is an co-cooking space. By the round outline, "O" comes from the Chinese traditional dining table which enables people to sit and eat around. I cut the concentric circles into half, divided them into sections and filled in different color. The middle parts of the pattern composed the Chinese word " ĺ?ˆ HO" that means together. Besides, the different colors give the logo the visual flowing.

2017 Calendar - Time Games
Time is a game. It is not matter we lose or win, we have to enjoy it. In the 12 months, I design 12 kinds of typesetting. The calendar keeper cannot use it as regular form calendar. Every date is a dot; the dots composed time.

Zheng-Xing Cafe Menu Zheng-Xing CafĂŠ locates on Tainan, an old city in Taiwan. The building is an 100-year-old house, and the interior design keeps the Taiwan traditional buliding style. By redesigning the menu and table sign, I tried to mange the visual to make it rustic, cozy ,classic and coherent with the store's style. Furthermore, the layout was adjusted for the customer and staff. I hope it is reading-friendly and makes the process go smoother from ordering to making the meal.

Z h e n g -X i n g C a t s Cats on the Zheng-Xing Rooftop
I used to be a waitress in a Cafe. Each morning we fed the stray cats in this area. We could tell who he/she is, and their names. Face and name are the most distinct sign. A s we have called one's name for a long time, we would associate the name with the face unconsciously. I drew four of the cats, and write the name on their face. All of them have absolutely different characteristics.

Picture Book - Didicoco Lake The first full moon after rain season is always the biggest one during a year. The full moon has magic that can turn the moonlight into countless boats. In the stor y, the lake habitants jumped onto the boats; then the magic boats rised up. An annual journey was star ting.
