Ocoee Middle School Tour Thursday, January 22 • 9:00 am – 1:15 pm Ocoee Middle School, an Apple Distinguished School for 2010–2015, pilots many new technologies and is on the cutting edge as the technological demonstration school for Florida. FETC 2015 is offering more than 150 workshops led by national and international experts. These workshops provide participants a chance to delve deeply into topics, learn new skills and strategies and create new materials, without the time constraints of concurrent sessions. From integrating iPads to cloud computing and effective leadership strategies, there are plenty of workshops every faculty member, administrator and IT staff member can’t afford to miss!

TRAVEL & HOUSING HOTEL INFORMATION All hotel reservations must be made online through the FETC Housing Bureau only. Phone reservations will not be accepted. Please do not call the hotel, as you will be redirected to the FETC Housing Bureau. Reservations must be made by December 17, 2014. Hotel rooms are subject to availability. All rooms must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card. Hotels will accept cash or credit/debit card payment for your stay upon arrival. Personal checks will not be accepted. If you plan to pay with a school check, please note that the check or payment should be made out to the hotel directly, not to FETC. Checks must be received 14 days before your check-in date and should be mailed directly to the hotel. We recommend that you mail your check after January 1, 2015. A cover letter with the following information MUST accompany your check: n FETC 2015 n The name of the person(s) the reservation(s) is for n Your company/school’s name and address and n The contact person’s name, e-mail and phone number If your school or organization is tax exempt, you must bring with you, or include with your check, a copy of the tax exemption certificate. The certificate must be a Florida tax exempt certificate (no other state is applicable). The name on the tax exemption certificate must match the name on the check. ORANGE COUNTY CONVENTION CENTER FETC 2015 will be held in the SOUTH Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center, located at 9899 International Drive. It can be easily reached from I-4 via State Road 528, Exit #1 (International Drive). There is limited parking available adjacent to the South Complex of the OCCC. The Convention Center currently charges a per-entry fee of $15 for passenger vehicles and $25 for oversized vehicles. After 5:00 pm parking rates are $9 for passenger vehicles and $15 for oversized vehicles. SHUTTLE SERVICE Complimentary shuttle service will be available to transport attendees to and from most of the participating conference hotels and the Orange County Convention Center during regular conference hours on Wednesday, January 21–Friday, January 23. Please allow 20–30 minutes between the Convention Center and your hotel. The Rosen Centre, Hyatt Regency Orlando Convention Center and Hilton Orlando will not have shuttle service due to their close proximity to the Convention Center. Check schedule for hours of operation.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SERVICE FETC will have a lift-equipped motor coach available during regular conference hours to provide service for wheelchair using attendees between the conference hotels and the convention center.
CAR RENTAL DISCOUNTS Avis Rent-a-Car is offering a discount on car rental for FETC attendees. These special rates are valid for 7 days before and after the event dates of January 20–23, 2015. ACCOMMODATIONS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES The Orange County Convention Center is wheelchair accessible and fully equipped to meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
