fter enduring one of the most vicious winters in recent history it’s time to turn up the heat on our 2010 racing season. We are bringing one of the most exciting seasons ever to our fans and drivers at one of the best tracks in the nation. “Head Honcho” Tim Bryant tends to listen to what the fans want. We will continue to bring you a stellar season with the return of the Super Late Models for 5 Blizzard Series100 lap events as they will race toward a spot in the Snowball Derby in December. First Blizzard is April 9th. Also in the schedule is a 100 lap Pro Late Model race in October. The 2009 Track Champions will all be back and will be racing for 2 championships in a row. Super Late Model Johanna Long, Pro Late Model Ronnie Smith, Modified Nathan Ingersoll, Super Stock Shannon Jackson, Sportsman Steve Stokes is a track official, a former driver and host of our TV show. 3/19/2010 #1
Randy Thompson and Bomber William Goulet made us all proud in 2009 and should be a threat to do it again, but they will have to stay on top of their game to repeat it. (Pho- Steve Stokes tos on page 4 inside of the champs with a banquet recap). By the way; Did you happen to see the 2009 “Fan Vote” on Speed 51.com? Each year they have a fan vote on several different categories such as Best Promoter, Best Series, Driver of the Year, etc. Five Flags was voted #1 as the best track to watch a race on. A special welcome to McGuire’s Bagpipe Band making their first ever appearance here tonite. In closing, all the staff at Five Flags would like to send our condolences to the Bryant family on the loss of Ricky Bryant, who left us on February 24th, You will always be in our hearts and in our prayers.
