Top: Bomber pilot Mike Goraum, a familiar figure in winners circle.. Second: Veteran driver Randy Thompson driving in 2 divisions, leading the Super Stocks in 2010, Third: Steve Buttrick on top of his game this year, with another win. Bottom: D J Vanderley graduated high school, and even had to borrow another car when his #2 crashed early in the season.

an you believe 9 weeks are in the books and only 7 remain in the 2010 season? We even have our mid-season rest break over with and it’s time to get back to business. Tonight the Pro Late Models return to action along with the Super Stocks, Sportsman and Bombers. Who would believe after 9 weeks of racing the points championship is still up for grabs in every division?

races left along with another fantastic “HAIR RAISING” TBARA Winged Sprint car show. Oh yeah! I almost forgot about the Snowball Derby December 1 thru 5.

When I say 7 weeks remain, don’t get me wrong. Some classes are running out of time quickly. The Pro Late Models have only 4 race nights remain for them and it will all come down to October 8th Night of Champions. This will be the deciding factor for Modifieds, Sportsman, and Bombers as well.

Since we are past halfway in the season I would like to ask a favor from the drivers and fans. When you see Tim Bryant, Dave Pavlock or Steve Stokes, let us know your opinions on the 2010 season. We appreciate your input on the things we have done, right or wrong. Any ideas for improvement will certainly be considered. Or maybe you like it just the way it is. Hope you enjoy the races and until next time; Take Care!!!

HL, who was an air traffic controller in real life, had a steady hand and enjoyable personality during his years at the wheel. Most remembered for his t shirt “I am not Rat Lane.” They did look alike! Our condolences to the Bailey family.
