Community Locations of Interest

Located in Oneida County – the heart of the Northwoods of Wisconsin – Rhinelander has a population of around 7,700, and it stands as the retail hub of northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan. When considering those who work and shop daily in Rhinelander, the population swells to around 20,000. Rhinelander gives the feel of a small-town, friendly community; yet it is large enough to provide great year-around living experiences and activities.

The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to the enrichment of the greater Rhinelander community with an emphasis on our members.

Visit our office at 450 W. Kemp Street, Rhinelander, WI, to learn more about the Rhinelander Area, pick up area business brochures, find the perfect area activities for you and your family, and take your picture with the “World’s Largest” Hodag Statue. We are open Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4 pm. If you are visiting us between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you can also stop by on Saturdays between 8 am and 12 pm.
