Wheels, Wings & Watercraft Show

MANITOWISH WATERS - Race on into Manitowish Waters for the Wheels, Wings & Watercraft Show on Saturday, May 27. The event will be held on the grounds of the Manitowish Waters Community Center, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers an awesome addition of Aircrafts for your viewing pleasure this year!

Enjoy a great day of classic and custom car, aircraft, and watercraft viewing, live music, demonstrations, food and beverages offered for sale by Little Bohemia, free kids’ games, and a thrilling awards presentation. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be presented in all classes. Overall People’s Choice Best of Show Award and Kid’s Choice Award will be voted on by the public. Best of Show Award will be voted on by the participants.

Spend the day admiring classic and custom cars, aircrafts, trucks, canoes, and outboard motors that are among the best of collections in northern Wisconsin. Educational and informational booths will be available to learn about water safety, the impact of cars and boats on the area, managing invasive species and more. Visit with old friends, and make new ones. Spend the day or stay longer. Relax in the beauty of Manitowish Waters and Vilas County.

BOULDER JUNCTION - Boulder Junction fishing guides are offering free fishing seminars throughout the summer! Join Jim Riley from Northern Wisconsin Kayak Fishing for the first fishing seminar of the season, Kayak Fishing 101! This event will be held at Peeple’s Park on Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m.

Held at Peeple’s Park or local motels on Sundays at 7 p.m. No reservations are required, just come and enjoy! In case of inclement weather, it will be up to the presenting guide to determine if the seminar will take place. Bringing a lawn chair is encouraged.
