Attention Adrenaline Junkies…Join the Fun at Memorial Weekend ATV/ UTV Rally

Considered one of the most anticipated events happening in May 2023, the ATV/UTV Charity Ride, brings together adrenaline enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience through the town’s scenic trails. The events take place starting on Thursday at 3 p.m. and will go through Sunday at 5 p.m. The ride will feature a range of activities, such as a poker run, parade, a raffle and live music, all while raising funds for a good cause. Pre-Registration for the event is encouraged. On-line registration is available via hurleywi.com. This would entail purchasing poker sheets. T-shirts can be pre-ordered. Participants will be able to register in person through Saturday, May 27th at the Hurley and Mercer Chambers. The parade is being held on Friday at 7 p.m. All registrants are welcome to participate! The theme this year is “Light up the North”. Participants are encouraged to decorate their wheelers with this theme in mind. A crowd favorite, the Mud Pit event will be held on Sunday, starting at Noon. Registration for that event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Ironhorse Saloon.

HURLEY - Are you a thrill seeker or gear head? Got an ATV or UTV? Then load up the four-wheeler and head to Iron County in far northern Wisconsin for the 37th Annual Memorial Weekend ATV/UTV Rally set for May 25 through May 28. Organized by the Hurley Chamber of Commerce (hurleywi.com), the event kicks off the summer trail-riding season and is an interactive way to check out the largest ATV/UTV trail system in Wisconsin.

Riders can explore the over 200 miles of scenic riding opportunities that northern Iron County offers. Trail segments range from family friendly to those that will challenge even experienced riders. Ride through forest land to the secluded Spring Camp Falls or out to the shore of the largest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Superior. The trails incorporate many of the county’s historic transportation, lumberjack, and mining sites.

Pit stops on the trails are a must! Quaint pubs, taverns, rustic restaurants, and an array of lodging choices are readily available.
