Winter Fest - Ice Fishing Jamboree

February 25, 2023, 9 am – 3 pm, Lynx Lake

Ice fishing on Lynx Lake will start at 9am and kids games and fun for the whole family will begin at 11am, live music at 1pm. There will be a tent for you to warm up in and enjoy. Food and beverages will be available. The awards ceremony will be held at 3 pm with the announcement of the ice fishing winners.

Walleye Tournament

May 19, 20, & 21, 2023, Presque Isle Lakes

31st Annual! Catch and release tournament on Presque Isle and Winchester Lakes with photo submissions, followed by awards ceremony and door prize giveaways at 11:30am Sunday. Fish fry luncheon to follow is free for all registered participants.

Presque Isle Days

Sunday June 25, 2023, 9 – 3 pm, Downtown Presque Isle

Free entry to our town’s vendor fair and community event. Featuring children’s games, food, beverages, live music and more.

Tunes on the Water, First Fridays

July 7, August 4, September 1, 2023, 5 – 7 pm, Pipke Park

Relax and enjoy live music outdoors at Pipke Park. Bring a blanket, lawn chair or grab a spot on the lakeside picnic tables. You can also listen to the tunes across the water!

Halloween Spooktacular

October 31, 2023, 5 pm – 8 pm, Pipke Park

All outdoor event. Trunk or Treat around the pond and walk the Haunted Trail. Food and drink provided by St. Rita’s Church.

Kids Fishing Days

July 13, 27 and August 10, 2023, 10 am – 1 pm

Join us on Wednesday morning for fishing at Lynx Lake Resort. Fisher-mentors are on hand to help; bait provided! Lunch plus prizes too! Sponsored in partnership with the Presque Isle Lions, and Karsyn’s Korner/Do It Best Hardware.

Farm Fresh Friday Market

Starting in June – September 2023, 8 am – 2 pm

Featuring Gene’s famous farm fresh produce, bakery, honey, cheese, grass fed meats / poultry, smoked fish, local eggs, and other finds and handcrafted locally made items from the Northwoods.

Old Time Christmas

December 8, 2023, 5 – 8 pm

FREE! Join us at Pipke Park for horse-drawn sleigh rides along our snow-covered lake paths, bonfire, and hot drinks. Plus, sledding, ice-skating, and A SPECIAL VISIT WITH SANTA. Hosted in partnership with the Presque Isle Lions and Presque Isle/ Winchester Sno-Bunnies.

Winegar Riders UTV/ATV Club 2023 Events

June 3rd - Pork-n-ride at American Legion

June 17th , July 15th and August 12th - Winegar Riders ride. Meet at the Fire Station in PI.

September 16th - Color Ride at the American Legion.
