The Poppy Hanging Lamp starts with handmade paper adhered to Tyvek速, a strong and lightweight fibrous material. With these two materials, a natural exterior is complemented with a highly breathable interior, allowing heat and water vapor to pass through. Individual hand-cut forms are pleated to resemble small bursting petals. After meticulous paper pleating, our artisans attach a multitude of single blossoms together, effectively growing them onto a powder coated metal frame. The result is a round glowing floral bloom.
