AIRCELL

AIR CELL TOWER will push the boundaries of skyscraper building envelopes with novel potentials for reactive membranes to harvest untapped airborne energies, organisms, and material phenomena. Air Cell will consider the possibilities for a new type of tower: edifices that merge urban infrastructure with occupancy, and seed alternative locations for living around the Bay via extreme and opportunistic siting.

ICELANDEXPO

ICELAND EXPO is a project for EXPO 2015 in Milan. The main concept of the pavilion was focused on the representation of the Iceland wild nature. The artificial landscape with hundreds of grass is a filed of exploration for visitors and a platform for interaction with Icelandic sheep and cows. The interior concept is representing the nature of the caves and greenhouses with yellow light and sauna with mineral tubs and steam.

MARKETBLOCK

MARKET BLOCK is a project in the heart of the diverse San Francisco composing of various building typologies and styles, scales and forms. The city structure is defined by three different grids, which form the urban fabric. The grids are orthogonal and cross on the project site. The urban analysis reveals that Market Street, one of the city’s major streets, shifts the Octavia Street grid and determines the defining features of the project. It is based on the idea of combining different grids, conceptually expanding Market Street.
