Composite and Collage of The Raffia Dress. Alexander Mcqueen ARC499 - Draw : Anatomies, Geograph & Trajectory
Paris/ French (Design) Italy (Made) 2000
By deconstructing the dress’s traditional silhouette Alexander McQueen challenges tradition. Here Mcqueen employs a sculpture shape that while exquisitely constructed, emphasises a disconcerting asymmetry. Thus in McQueen’s hands the dress has moved well beyond a conventional interpretation of wardrobe staple. After thoroughly understand the traits of McQueen’s design which also reflected on the Raffia dress. I developeda sequence of motion graphics of how human body and the clothe interact. The idea of composite drawing shown by experimenting graphic technics, such as using grasshoper to grow density which caused by the wripple of the clothes.

AQUATIC Winery After getting a comprehensive knowledge from advanced wineries tours with the studio. The project was developed diversely from few phases. First, it was intrigued by the tensions and regularities of the pattern from wine leaves. Second, based on the refreshing education of wine tasting, we were asked to design unique wine labels and wine bottles for the clients. Through observing the grid system from the vineyards pattern, i categorized the nodes and marked it with numbers by the quantites of branches it has connected. String the relatively same nodes, and it would naturally gather into clustes. After inspiring from the regularities of the vineyards pattern, I started to study the possibilities it would appear as an architectural form.

The project aims to elaborate the water and winery elements. Nevertheless, it overthrows traditional impression of the darkness wine cellar. While the bottom level gets slightly natural light source through the swimming pools, the swimmers also have a unique experince observing the process underneath them.
Even if the winery was divided into two programs, it shows its uniqueness from the design when people undergo both simultaneously. fig.2 There are specific advatages for the wineries to built underneath the pools. Through the water above, the heat would be cool down to adequate temperature for the cellar. In addition, it adapted and provided the humidity.

Temecula originally reknown for its wide fields of vineyards, thus the winery should be naturally fit into the scenery. The shape of the building not only enable people easily interact and view to the vineyards, but it also allows the plants grows on top of it while its rooftop extended from the ground.

Urban Scale Project ; Spectacle of Nakedness In collaboration with Kyat Chin, Andrew Lytle, Saba Salekfard

Spectacle (spek-tuh-kuh) a visually striking performance or display Synonyms comedy, demonstration, display, drama, event, extravaganza, movie, pageant, parade, performance, phenomenon, scene, sight, representation, marvel, play, prodection, Naked (nek-kid) being without clothing or covering; nude Synonyms bald, bare, defenseless, exposed, helpless, nude, bare-skinned, natural, peeled, unclad, unprotected, unveiled, vulnerable, stark-naked,open
The bathhouse is central to the history of West Hollywood. Unfortunately these bathhouses have been replaced by high-end retail and luxury apartments. This is a real loss to the culture of West Hollywood. This project is an opportunity to bring the bathhouse back. To do so we studied Roman therms, Turkish baths, and Ottoman hammans for inspiration. The project aims to create a layered performance space: a place of spectacle and “frisson. The design of this project allows hotel guests, office workers, and shoppers to be captivated by the bodies of bathers. The site is located adjacent to West Hollywood Park between Robertson Ln. and La Peer Dr. intersect by Santa Monica Blvd.

Gyms Spas
The City of West Hollywood has its own unique cultural attitude towards the body and to self-expression. The buff, male body is an object of desire-one that is often on display. Health retailers, vitamin shops, gyms, and spas are common and part of the populations’ interest in maintaining a fit and healthy body.
34
The project is organized in three layers, First Level being retail, Second level being offices, and Third level being hotel. Each layer's design intent is different from one another but is connected with the geometries of recurring spas and bathhouses. Process diagrams expressing the specific spaces bathers would been through after accessing the bathhouses. Exploded axonometric drawing exposing of the stacking programs for three floors.

Section drawing As a generator for “frisson and friction, the bathhouse occurs in all layers of the project. Spherical geometries continue across floors, accenting baths and landscapes. The interruptions of the pools allows for various sights to be connected. They exist in all contexts, providing visual connections between the different levels. Users could be working at desks and see hotel residents bathing above them.

Retail Floor Plan.
41
This project will place the human body at the center both figuratively and literally. Thus, it will give people an opportunity to admire the body of others or to be admired themselves. The retail floor features the latest brands and stores of health and wellness. The bathhouses are placed in the center of space, unifying the retail programs. Circular geometries allow visitors to weave through all the various retail stores.
When people reach the first floor, they’ll notices they are in the center of various events. People peer through the circular vitrines of a retail shop to admire the latest Lululemon athletic wear. Visitors in robes walked past by, onto their next sequence of the bathing rooms. their attention wanders when they see a dozen uncovered bathers lounging next to the cold bath and sauna. Bathhouse adjacency to retail on the ground level.
42
Office Floor Plan.
43
Curious, People heads to the second floor offices. They enters an open plan office environment. In between workers in suits toiling in cubicles are uncovered bathers relaxing in pools. Piles of clothes line walls of the cubicles as workers undress in anticipation of joining the bathers. There are skylights giving him glimpses to the floors above. They notice more baths and people in bathrobes, propelling them to explore further.
Cubicles embody the circular geometries existent within the other floors. The urban landscape continues onto the office floor, allowing a direct connection to the boulevard. In between cubicles are small gatherings, where users can go to relax and take breaks from their work. Bathhouse adjacency to office spaces on the 2nd floor.
44
Hotel Floor Plan. Pools present themselves as spherical additions and subtractions from the more normative project prism. The result of the spaces created allows visitors to wander above, between, and below the geometries to see and be seen. Circle Geometry Diagrams for Three of the Hotel Units.
45
46
The landscapes behave differently from the surrounding geometries of the architecture and serve to interrupt and filter views. These interruptions are needed in order to both reveal and hide portions of the project. This project will place the human body at the center both figuratively and literally. Our project will give people an opportunity to admire the body of others or to be admired themselves.

Locations of the spot
The apartment where I stayed in New York is situated right next to the Mermorial Park.Whenever I went back home I saw crowds of policeman and a lot of people strolling in the park, contemplating in front of the waterfall. There were many designing details in this project that trigger my emotion. - The two voids, originally the Twin Tower, resulting from the damage of 911 was kept with the previous scale in order to remind everyone of the happening of 911. - The victim names were pierced on the bronze parapets of the voids, with golden light shining through the the names to strengthen the sacred feeling. - The waterfall also has light from behind, beautified and enhanced the visibility of it. - The sound of the waterfall can covered the voices of people as one get closer; contrasting with the silence that one normally gets from other memorials, the wave of water sound washes through and surges one’s feeling.
