Dear Friends, Participants and Partners:

Welcome to Columbus – my hometown – for the 2022 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon, OhioHealth Quarter Marathon and Cap City 5K.

We are THRILLED to be back in-person for the 19th Anniversary of the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon. This year Columbus’ own CELEBRATION of the Healthy Active Lifestyle will be our best yet. We cannot THANK YOU enough for your support of Cap City over the past two years as we offered virtual alternatives during the coronavirus pandemic. Since 2004, the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon has focused on the CELEBRATION and PARTICIPATION of our runners and walkers. Our goal is to provide the ultimate experience for our participants, partners and the community.

We thank Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, the City of Columbus, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, the Columbus Police and Fire divisions and all of the other local support agencies for their support.

This event would not be possible without the remarkable support of our corporate partners led by our world-class title partner OhioHealth. OhioHealth is a nationally recognized healthcare organization based in Columbus and among the top five large health systems in the United States. OhioHealth shares our passion of promoting fitness and celebrating the active healthy lifestyle. We also thank the 1,500 volunteers who donate countless hours to guarantee your success on Race Day. We could not produce the CELEBRATION without them.
