On behalf of Franklin County and all of our residents, welcome to the 2022 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon.

Half marathons are as much about competing as they are about exercise and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Franklin County is leading the way in supporting our community to stay active and committed to their health and wellness and we know that a strong community requires a healthy one.

We are indeed a destination on the rise because of our diverse and accessible blend of urban, suburban and rural attractions. Through our community’s infrastructure, amenities, convenience and affordability, Columbus annually hosts a variety of professional, collegiate, amateur and youth sports events, including the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon each year since 2004.

I congratulate the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon on 19 years of success in Central Ohio. The event has become a spring celebration of the healthy and active lifestyle in Columbus and I am proud to say that I have run with you in this event several times and will be out there with you again this year!
