To borrow library materials, first, search materials on the library homepage, then, go to the bookshelf directly to get the materials, and finally, go to the circulation or use smart student ID/mobile card to borrow them through automatic check-out machine. ▶ Automatic check-out machine : 1st to 4th floors of the 1st Library (Central Library), 1st floor of the 2nd Library, 4th floor of the Law Library, 1st floor of the Medical Library, and 3rd floor of the Nano & Agricultural Library
Returning
You can return the borrowed materials through automatic check-in machine or at circulation desk. Late fee is 100 won per day for one book. Reservation

Borrowing from Depository Library Fees and Fines

If checked-out materials are lost or damaged, compensation should be made with the identical items (KRW 800 in arrangement fee is also charged). If lost materials are sold out or out of print, compensation should be made with the recent items in similar subjects (KRW 4,000 in arrangement fee is also charged.)

Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL)
Book or journal purchase recommendations for the Library.

Course reserves are reading materials that are designated by professors. They can be read in library. However, materials for "practical English" course and "practical computer" course can be checked out for three days. The reserved course materials are placed in a separate bookshelf, near information desk in each subject library. You can request for borrowing or copying the materials held by other university libraries.

A "customized" information service carefully designed for 84 academic fields (majors) in PNU. Each LibGuide includes both learning information for students and research information for professors.

A specialized information service carefully developed for supporting the PNU researchers (professors and graduate students). User Instruction
Three levels of instruction are provided : general orientation to introduce the PNU library and Collections, formal class of instruction to teach how to use library collections, and special class to teach the search skills and methods of various subject databases. ▶ Library homepage → User Service → User Instruction
Bibliotherapy program
Bibliotherapy programs run by subject librarians are provided to both students and university staffs. One-on-one support by library staff is provided to help and guide users

Mobile phone number, password, e-mail address, and message reception settings should be registered to receive diverse "personalized" information management services from the library.
