CLAYTON COUNTY INTERNATIONAL PARK PAVILION RENTALS A $150 refundable clean-up fee is required on all rentals in addition to rental fees. All fees are due at time of booking. For reservations, please call 770.603.4005. BEACH PAVILIONS CAPACITY RENTAL FEE St. John 500 $500.00 St. Martin 500 $500.00 St. Kitts 500 $400.00 Rental of all on-beach pavilions require the purchase of a beach ticket in order to access the pavilion. Admission tickets to Beach Pavilions are $8.00 per guest only when pre - purchased. The $8.00 fee includes beach admission, beach volleyball and horseshoes. Beach Pavilion rentals must provide a load - in and load - out time for client to bring in food and supplies. This time may not exceed one hour. Beach Pavilions are available for rental during the Beach Season only. Wednedsay and Thursday from 10am - 6pm, Friday 11am - 6pm, Saturday 10am - 7pm, and Sunday 1pm - 7pm. We will choose twelve students to attend a three day, all expense paid trip! In an effort to support the Georgia Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights, former State Representative Glenn Baker, Lake Spivey Community, Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department and many other community sponsors partnered to host our 8th Annual Lake Spivey Road Race. Proceeds from the 2016 Road Race will go toward scholarships for children to participate in outdoor activities during a three day trip in the summer of 2017. SPECIAL NEED SWIM LESSONS
Therapeutic Recreation Programs are designed with an emphasis on education, leisure, sports and socialization. Our goal is to provide opportunties to people with disabilities to participate and have fun. Each swim session includes six 30 minutes lessons. Each time slot will include instructions for all swim levels. Parent/child interview required before registration for any program.

RECREATION AND WELLNESS DAY PROGRAM
Recreation and Wellness day program is a free therapeutic program which is held at the Jim Huie Recreation center. The program is offered to the participants who are currently enrolled in a day program set up for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Every 1st and Last Wednesday of the month. This program is for all ages.

NATIONAL THERAPEUTIC RECREATION MONTH
February is national Therapeutic Recreation Month. Therapeutic Recreation is a profession that focuses on habilitation and rehabilitation through leisure education, games, instructional classes, sport, socials, special events, and community reintegration. In honor of national therapeutic recreation month the Jim Huie recreation center will offering a variety of different activities; for example Bingo and board games, swimming, karaoke and cotton candy and much more! Participants not only get acclimated to the recreation center and all that it offers, they get the opportunity to have fun with their peers in a new and exciting environment!
