Series SUMO Minor with Auger Minor Auger Granulator
For Receiving Sprues Directly under the IMM This granulator is equipped with an auger for placement directly under the injection molding machine. Design based on the cutting chamber dimensions of the Minor 1. Series SUMO Junior Double JD4
For Large Sprues and Parts JD granulators are fitted with a double rotor which allows for processing of bulky sprues and parts as well as for higher throughput rates. e.g. large automotive parts: bumpers, dashboard etc. The three models JD4, JD6 and JD8 use interchangeable cutting components. Gas-spring assisted hopper opening. Vacuum bin with 360째 swivel adapter mounted on casters. Option: The three models JD43, JD63 and JD83 have a third shaft arranged in hopper for feeding the parts into the cutting chamber. Type SUMO

Series MB Plastic Granulators MB Series granulators are conventional granulators with knives and screen for versatile granulation of plastic materials. Compact design for beside the press applications.
Advantages of MB Series with Open Rotor Design Excellent regrind quality.
The fixed bed knives as well as the rotating knives can be gapped after sharpening by adjusting screws in a pre-adjustment fixture, thus providing a constant cutting diameter and always the same distance to the screen. This guarantees constant and excellent regrind.
Slant knives for scissor type cutting action for reduced noise and power consumption. Treated high alloy steel knives.
The open rotor provides excellent ventilation of the cutting chamber to reduce the risk of melting materials when recycling warm parts or sprues.
The tangential feed cutting chamber allows for a more positive ingestion of parts into the downstroke of the cutting knives to maximize granulator efficiency.

Rugged Design for Maximum Efficiency Cutting chamber MB1818.
Cutting Chamber - Rugged steel construction. - 2 fixed knives maintained on rugged supports. - “Open” rotor fitted with 3 or 6 rotating knives (according to model) resting on two bearings. - Rotor mounted on sealed bearings with dust retainer to reduce maintenance. - Easy removal and cleaning of screen.
Motor Drive - Via high output belts and inertia pulley (option on MB1818 and MB1836 – 2,2, KW). - Automatic belt tensioner ensures optimal pulley drive.
Hopper - Designed for all types of feeding. - Soundproofed hopper with large chute opening and anti-flyback curtain. - Hopper rotates 180° in order to place the granulator as near as possible to the injection molding machine.
Material Extraction - Regrind collection bin with flag window allows manual emptying or vacuum evacuation.
Electrical Equipment And Safety - Electric cabinet integrated into the granulator allows adding options later. - Control 24 V standard. - Safety system to open the granulator by safety switch corresponding to CE standards.
Sound Level - All MB series granulators have complete integral soundproofing for less than 80 dB(A) sound level (depending on material and feeding of granulator).
MB1836 and MB2142 equipped with a double set of fixed and slanted knives.
Options - Inertia pulley MB1818/MB1836. - With motor output 4 kW and 5,5 kW, inertia pulley in standard configuration. - Capacitive or mechanical high level indicator. - Granulator prepared for material extraction. - Phase detector. - Hopper for back feeding (MB2121/MB2142). - Cutting chamber with wear plates. - Water cooling.
Series MB MB1818
This series includes 4 compact and multi-purpose granulators with different capacities in order to recycle sprues and plastic parts directly at the injection molding machine. Advantages: - Inclined cutting chamber for tangential feed. - High quality regrind due to low rotor speed (250 rpm). - Moving and rotating knives can be sharpened. - Granulator delivered with pre-adjustment fixture for fast knife changes. - Low noise level due to full sound enclosure. - Granulator pre-equipped with electrical cabinet to receive all electrical options later on.

Easy Maintenance
- The design and the simplicity of the hopper opening allow faster access to the cutting chamber and facilitate cleaning and maintenance operations. - The screen, which can be changed rapidly, minimizes the time for cleaning when changing materials frequently.

BVI Series Auger Granulator Conventional granulator with Archim the edean screw. Installation directly under the injection molding machine or under robot (with feed hopper - option). Auger opening 600x230 mm. The very compact and flexible design of the BVI allows for several configurations of positioning the granulator. Cutting chamber with open rotor design like MB models.
Safety
Three electric safety devices prohibit the start-up of the granulator while open during maintenance. External safety device pre-wired in the electrical cabinet. A magnetic switch placed on the trough to ensure safety in case of below-the-press positioning or to ensure the presence of a feed hopper or safety guarding.

MC Series for Medium to Large Throughputs Heavy duty granulators. They are intended for recycling beside the IMM (MC 34) and/or for centralized recycling (MC 46/MC 70) of runners, parts and various scrap. Main features: Tangential feed cutting chamber for optimal acceptance of parts.

Cutting chamber of MC 46-60
Cutting Chamber - Solid steel welded construction. - Screen with standard hole diameters from 6 to 12 mm according to model and application, mounted on screen support, opened via gas or hydraulic cylinder (according to model). - Replaceable wear plate on attack side in standard configuration.
Rotor - Herringbone rotor supported on 2 heavy-duty outboard pillow block bearings. Fitted with 3 or 5 blades. - Mechanical brake.

Feeding
Blades - Made of high alloy hardened steel; can be sharpened several times. - All blades are pre-adjustable using a pre-adjustment fixture supplied as standard, which simplifies installation and guarantees constant cutting circle and thus consistent regrind quality. - Scissor style cutting for low energy consumption.
Drive
- Rotor driven by pulley and belt. - Inertia flywheel in standard configuration.
Electrical Equipment - Separate electrical control cabinet with star delta soft start (MC 46-60 and larger). - Control circuit: 24V for MC 34 - 230V for others.
- Soundproofed feed hopper can be easily adapted for all types of feed methods – robot, conveyor or manual. - Hopper opening assisted by cylinders (manual, electrical or hydraulic handling depending on the model).
Emptying - All regrind collection bins are prepared for blower evacuation. - Manual evacuation (collection bin with viewing window) available on request (depending on the model).
Sound Control
- Models MC 34 and MC 46 are supplied with integrated and optimal soundproofing. - Option for MC 70: soundcabinproof enclosue.
MC Series MC 46-60 with conveyor belt and large trough, tunnel metal detector and soundproofed feed chute.
