Movement being in a flow – allowing the art work to decide what will become - I am inspired by the colours and shapes of nature and enjoy using mixed media in my work. I find mesmerising the ability of landscapes to change depending on the sunlight, seasons and by humans.

This was an image drawn while working on a psychiatric ward for older adults in 2020. I hope it reflects the many questions I still have about our approaches in supporting people as they pass through systems of care, and that we never forget people who are hidden within darkened rooms.
