Conversion of the interface

Arched glass windows enhance the linkage between the inside and outside of the building and provide a rhythm of functional transitions. Architectural functions can permeate from the outside and extend.

In-Between Space

The atrium formed by the solid space and the semi-enclosed space formed by the absence of the solid creates the continuity of space and the flow of space.

There are more staircases in high-rise buildings, and these vertical transportation enhances the interaction of space. They are new spaces for socializing and stopping. Enhanced vertical spatial perception.

NEW ORTOMERCATO A New Agglomeration

The regeneration of the wholesale market in Milan is a recent and ongoing project, which, as a large part of the city and at a transport hub, is of significant relevance to the city. The site was conceived not only for the efficient operation of the wholesale market, but also for the activation of the public space. Through the collision of both spaces, we have come up with a proposal for a wholesale market that can be used by more people.

Wholesale Market

The internal flow of the marketplace should accommodate different types of vehicles and multiple transportation activities. The ground floor is used as storage space for transportation of goods and the second floor for offices. A bridge can be seen crossing the site under the open wooden structure.

Display Space Structure Unit

The tree structure increases the mobility of the space. It make the space more coherent as a whole. The skylight brings in natural light and make the space more open.

Space Composition

The building carries three main functions: office, goods display and transportation. Triage for different user groups according to equipment and activated time.

Home for a Film Photographer

It is a basic study of light. Artist residence not only meets the function of daily living building but also has the function of receiving visitors and exhibition work. Face challenges in the current world situation, the function of housing begins to blur. Working fromat home becomes popular and people are starting to do more activities at home. Unlimited possibilities can also be stimulated within a limited living space

Shaping the Light Work and Life

Through the different types of window openings, the light is molded, allowing the light to secondarily shape the space. Utilizing direct, reflected and diffused light to create different spatial experiences.

Photography is the art of light, and a photographer’s home is a living, studio, exhibition and meeting place. The top floor is used as an exhibition space with skylights for light. The ground floor has a working space.

Lighting Interaction in Space

Ramps as main circulation space, are emphasized by light . The skylight create an invisible communication between different levels while mix light from all directions can create a abundant atmosphere. Rooms use different windows to attenuates light, disperses light or enrich light.

THE HEART OF LA LINEA

Regenration

The whole bay of Gibraltar interacts with each other in both urban and spatial terms, and the links between them need a way to better connect the whole bay in the context of the border. La linea, as the southernmost city in Spain, is in a key position, and is located in a key area of the bay.For the urban design, the proposal is to activate la linea with the buffer zone and the waterfront area and to provide it with urban space for regeneration and sustainability.

This project consists of 18 timber cabins as hotel rooms, a cafe house, and a swimming pool. This project is located in a forest and surrounded by the tea field, so the design aim to communicate with the nature and enhance the users’ perception of nature.

The project is the headquarters of JingDong which consists of twin towers. It is a project for headquarters and hospitality. The project aims to enhance the interactive interface between programs and the urban. As one of the Shenzhen Bay projects, it also undertakes the function of converging cities.

oTTo bar, located in Milan, is a shared co-working, lifestyle and gastronomy bar. The interior design emphasizes flexibility and versatility. Tables and chairs are ordinary everyday objects, but they are crucial in the transformation of the space. It can be a connection between people, a carrier of good things. It can be a connection between people, a carrier of good things, and a bond of love among people from different places in this space.

Bar’s dinning room Place a long display table made up of small tables.

The counter is also a Wunderlkamer, a lattice display that allows the objects to communicate with the customers.

Circular display table monobloc, metal table top with different shapes of display grooves.

Bar with tables and chairs inside and outside, outdoor garden with steps for guests to enjoy.

Various studios and garden spaces are available for Otto bar’s activities.

The square shape origami chair with backrest is one of the diverse chairs.

The bar and the entrance hall can be seen through the large glass area of the entrance.

Alternative space layout for studio and garden, creating a rich space with modular furniture.

A chair that combines square and round shapes, a simple geometric language.

ANCIENT ARCHITECTURE SURVEYING

FuRong gate is the east gate of Furong Village. It is a three-room, xueshan-style two-story Logue building. The whole gate tower is 7.8m high and the slot gate is 1.9m wide. From Yuan Dynasty (1341) til now.
