One day, my mom, my sisters, and I went to grandma’s house. When we got there, grandma was cooking. She was making mashed potatoes, corn, and chicken. It is important because we all learned how to cut potatoes because of grandma. The first time I made mashed potatoes was when I was 11 and helped my mom cook food. It was fun to help my mom cook. I enjoyed it a lot. That was my first time helping my mom cook. When I tried my grandma’s, the chicken was yummy and crispy, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and the corn tasted sweet. The food was really good. The food was nice and thin with a salty taste. Yummy and crispy, just how I like it. Some of them are long; some of them are short. Mostly greasy, but sometimes soft. You can dip them or leave them plain; it’s up to you to do what you feel. When I was 9 years old, I was playing at the park with my friend. We were going on the monkey bars when someone hit me with a basketball. I fell and hurt my leg. When I went home, my mom baked mac and cheese in the oven with cheese on top. I felt better when I ate it. I had two plates of mac and cheese. It tasted very good. Nice and warm, so I could just eat it and not heat it up.
