Sabrina the Sapphire Witch

Sabrina the Sapphire Witchby Ruby Sun, age 7

Hi, I am Sabrina the Witch, and today is the day I am going to conjure up my sapphire broom and get my very own pet. Meow! Meow! Oh, my friends are here. Downstairs we go. Press a button that looks like an upside down triangle in a little circle that makes you go to the last floor. The door leads outside to the backyard. Everything is set up. First, we get hay sticks, but then two witches start fighting so I, Sabrina, take out my wand. I magically make them not fight. Then I make an announcement: “Let’s get hay sticks.” So the witches go to the scarecrows and collect hay sticks. They play a game while they collect hay sticks. The game is Dance Hay Sticks. You have to dance around the scarecrow and collect hay sticks without using magic, but when the music stops and you stop dancing, you’re out! So the witches start picking at the scarecrow. Then they go to the tables. I, Sabrina, say this: “I will put ten griffin claws, one drop of griffin screeches, one hundred hay sticks, and one big, long stick, and now I have a broom with a real griffin on it! The griffin is my pet.”
