HAVING A HAIRCUT ON THE STREET The alternations of modern and traditional babers Instructor: Izaskun Chinchilla Time: Autumn 2020 Individual work

In Shenzhen, China, there is a relationship of competition and symbiosis between traditional hairdressers and modern barbers. And customers have totally different feelings about the two haircuts. According to the survey, there are several shavers and 20 modern barber shops in the ancient city. For the shaver, they live in no fixed place, and their income is meager. The income of shaving can only maintain the basic life. However, the traditional craftsmanship of shaver is facing the problem of no inheritance and declining day by day. On the other hand, for modern barber shops, they mainly obtain long-term benefits by attracting tourists. However, with the rising rent and the decrease of tourists, they are also facing the crisis of closing down and bankruptcy. The purpose of this project is to transform Zhongshan East Street in Nantou ancient city of Shenzhen. The ultimate goal is to break the difference between the two professions and integrate them into a new hairdressing experience and choice. People can enjoy exquisite Barber Service on the street, feel the lively atmosphere of the ancient city, and bring more interesting and comprehensive experience to customers. At the same time, it can also improve the barber professional system, create a new mode of sharing barber shops, and bring new productivity and vitality to the ancient city.

Many European barbers were the first to open barbershops near the ports and the low prices attracted many Chinese to barber shops.

Gather scattered traditional barbers together to provide them with a fixed barber's place, combined with public space.They can get a more rewarding salary. As time goes on, there are nearly 20 barbershops in the old town of Nantou in Shenzhen.

It is necessary to abolish the inherent business model of modern barber shop, liberate the working mode of modern barber and establish a shared barber shop. Transform business activities into more accessible social activities.

In order to weaken the Han faith, the Qing government ruled China, forcing people to have their hair cut. The barber often walked with the executioner, and if anyone didn't get a haircut, he would be executed.

Solution

Each section of the braid passes through a circular hole in the frame, and at the bottom of the braid is connected to a slide track stuck at both ends of the frame. One can control the length and shape of a piece of braid simply by controlling the bottom part.

The funds provided by the local government can not only maintain the hairdressing industry of Nantou ancient city, but also bring more benefits.

Without destroying the original path, the old generation likes to gather under the tree as the base point of the traditional shaving point, using the shade of the tree to form a new space.

The barber shop on the street has a strong activity and autonomy. It can not only be used as a barber's space, but also a place for local villagers and tourists to have activities and gatherings.

The original modern barber was shackled by the store, not only offering high rents, but also wasting a lot of time when no one was cutting hair. But with a Shared barbershop, barbers don't have to pay for the facade, and they have the flexibility to arrange their time with customers to maximize productivity.

Today, more than 50% of the world's population lives in cities; by 2050, that proportion will increase to nearly 70%. Risk factors from urban society or natural environment will lead to increased stress, which will make urban residents suffer from many psychological diseases. People are locked in thick concrete buildings, their senses are deprived, and the dull and monotonous environment loses its positive connection with human body. On the other hand, although the Internet in the city has brought a lot of convenience to people, the information that people get is more and more fragmented. Is the imprisoned body and fragmented spirit really what we want? According to the research, exercise, bathing and meditation can effectively relieve people's psychological pressure, and have a good auxiliary role in the treatment of psychological diseases. The project aims to make people pay more attention to the physical feelings by using three functions of sports, bathing and meditation to complete the lost feelings of people in the city, and to use airbags to simulate the movement of real muscles. At the same time, different levels of functional classification can take care of people with different degrees of psychological problems. To bring the most real experience to the people in the city and complete the human.

HUMAN AID PROJECT Sewage treatment system A complete MBR membrane treatment device is installed at the bottom of the bathing part to purify the bathing wastewater and then discharge it into the river.

MBR (membrane bioreactor) is a combined process of biological treatment and membrane separation. Hollow fiber membrane module is placed in the bioreactor, and the filtration hollow fiber membrane is ultrafiltration membrane (UF) with pore size range of 0.04 μ m, which is mainly used for the interception of suspension and organic matter. It can maintain a certain concentration of microbial biomass in the biological reaction tank and purify the sewage.

On August 18, 2019, a large-scale forest fire occurred in Amazon. Since 2019, the number of forest fires in Amazon has exceeded 72000, an increase of 83% compared with that in 2018. Frequent forest fires not only bring huge economic losses, but also cause irreversible losses to the local and even the world's natural environment. Serious damage to biodiversity, leading to multi species extinction. At the same time, a large amount of carbon dioxide is discharged into the atmosphere, accelerating global warming. According to the survey, the causes of the Amazon forest fire are not only the global warming and dry weather, but also the deforestation, the cultivation of pasture and land, and the construction of dams to intercept water. The local government ignores the natural balance and the longterm interests of local residents. According to the above problems, the goal of this project is to build Amazon rainforest device, establish new industrial process, rationally develop rainforest resources in a sustainable way, and balance economic recovery industry. In the design of this project, we set up rainforest ecological picking points and village processing plants to cultivate and process fruits and crops with great economic potential and improve productivity and economic level. In addition, rainforest alarm devices are set up to provide early warning of fire. It is hoped that through the construction of sustainable fruit picking device and the establishment of complete and efficient ecological and economic industrial process, new forest deification can be created for the future Amazon.

The Amazon rainforest covers a total area of 5.5 million square kilometers, accounting for half of the total area of the world's rainforests. Rainforests span eight South American countries, 60% of which are located in Brazil.

The process of new Forest Myth industry

THE BOOK OF RAZIEL Study on the deconstruction and space geometry of small star dodecahedron Instructor: Hua Chengling Time: Spring 2020 Individual work

This structure project is based on the small star dodecahedron and regular dodecahedron as inspiration points to explore the possibility of this geometry as a spatial feature structure. The final model is a truly independent three-dimensional structure. The unit and unit of the structure can be constrained and connected with each other to form a stable and orderly structural form in space. This study is based on the spatial structure of small star dodecahedron and regular dodecahedron. The key of design is to ensure that each part of the structure is constrained, inserted and supported by each other. Because the same size of dodecahedron can not fully cover the plane and space, so in the structural design, different types of small star 12hedron basic units are calculated, so that different types of small stars can be constantly closed in space, and form an orderly and stable structure that can be infinitely extended. The design fully analyzes the various angles of the small star dodecahedron, and studies the special design of the nodes to ensure that this model can be established without any glue. In addition, the structural form of different combination of structural units is also studied. The possibility of application of this structure is discussed.
