Passive design is used in the building according to the climate which are hot and humid. So much enclosure will increase more air conditioner using. Waeving facade can be shading and provide better ventilation in the building To provide an active space , thick enclosure is used in only necessary areas such as auditorium , lecture rooms , library , toilets , storage , etc. Steps and flexible partition are used for seperating diferent activities instead. Space can flow from outside to inside continously

Firebreaks clay printing
firebreaks clay printing Location : Northern Forest Mountain user : officers, villagers, travellers this project is about robotic in architectures studying. There are 3 parts of learning process including design process development (material , tooling , experiment , case study) , design integration (schemetic design , on site scenario) , and Fabrication (robotic path , clay printing).

This is a team project of clay printing by robotic arm. At first , we were interesting in liquid printing. And after we did so many researh about it , we were interesting in clay printing. Notable properties of clay are that it is natural material , which is found everywhere and reusable we had studied about material ability and we decided to make firebreaks to protect the villages where are near by the forest from wild fire. It is because clay is one of the best natural insulator

Nozzle is an important part of robotic studying. We have to design a nozzle for clay printing and design how to set up with robotic arm. This nozzle is developed from nozzle no.1 Nozzle

INTERLOCKING MODULE We try to make a modular wall by making clay layer printing. After it dry , we put it upright , but it doesn’t work because it cracked.
NON - EUCLIDEAN MODULE In 2nd experiment. We print euclidean pattern on curved surface to turn it into non-euclidean module, but the same problem occurs.
SELF - SUPPORTED The last experiment, we print high clay column, then it bend to the others like an arch. It is the main concept of self-supported

K-Truss we have studied the printing patterns to be the inner structure of clay so it will not collapse neither when it is wet nor dry There are 5 patterns for various type of forces , and each patterns incur different textures which can be used in different activities.

It can be used in any other function before fire such as playground , route , temporary camp etc. And they will be safe from wide fire , dont fear anymore.
