HIDDEN EXISTENCE 〝About Life Experience”

/ Description This image is a photo taken from the screen window of my room. Maybe others are not be able to what the photo is, but I really existed at the moment that the photo was taken, I can specifically describe the life experience I felt at that time. Sense of smell : There are many food shops on the ground floor and I can smell a lot of food in every meal time. Sense of sight and touch : Observing the changes of shadows, it can infer the direction of the sun. The temperature of the room also increases with the intensity of the light. Sense of sight : Observing the position of the water pipes and iron windows, it can inferr that the face of my room is the back of the building. Through the above explanation, I believe that obser ving the things around life can infer the life experience, that is, there are many small but interesting meanings that is〝hidden〞 behind some existence, which will make us live more consciously.

This notation space is composed of three spaces: pass by, encounterer, and stop in. I responded to the axis of the site, from Taipei Main Station to Zhongshan Station, and let people pass through these three spaces from fast to slow. In this project, space is defined by people's behavior. Therefore, when people move slowly from the exhibition space and book store to a small park full of vendors makes people stop gradually, and finally enter the living space where they can rest for a while. In the process of gradually stay, people can smell coffee, plant fragrance, hear laughter, music or meet other interesting people. I hope that the underground street is not just a transitional space, this place can filter out most of the urban noise, and those beautiful elements in life are selected and preserved. I hope that people can find a city corner of their own through this design. breath and feel life.

5:59 A.M. 〝About Untraceability of Time〞

/ Description There is only one chance to meet 5:59a. m. in a day, and this time symbolizes t h e p a s t a n d c o m i n g o f a d a y. Therefore, I use this time to express the Untraceability of time, just like, I have no chance to take this photo at the airport in Okinawa at 5:59a.m. on 2019.09.02. However, some elements of the image like the pink and blue sky, the street lights still on and the passing taxi seem to strongly imply 5: 59a.m. this time. For people nowadays, they often lose themselves in their life day after day. The reason is that life has not changed and lacks freshness. Therefore, if they can grasp every one-time experience and feel every moment well. So, in this project, I try to figure out the signals related to time and use these external information to affect the subject's perception. Even though time continues to pass, that's fine. :)

10

This notaion is depicting the daily life scene of commuting students passing by the bus stop, I try to figure out the signals related to time and use these external information to affect the subject's perception. For example, the continuous wall affects people's view of the external environment, or the undulating path affects people's behavior when waiting, changing from a row to a group queue, etc. These chahges can strengthen the external information and at the same time strengthen the subject's perception experience. The informations of the time: there is a bus every 4-6 minutes during peak hours, and a bus comes every 8-12 minutes during off-peak hours. 8:0010:00a.m. is the class time and 6:307:30p.m. is the time after class, the last bus will leave at 12 o'clock. These are noted in our daily life, and I think it is necessary to slowly realize the beautiful one-time experience at regular daily time, which will make us resonate with our life.

I observe the behavior of users and split the little space , allowing people to experience the passage of time in the repetitive architectural elements. Besides, when the last bus is at 12p.m. When it leave, the bus stop loses its function. So, I put a music bar to redefine these places through the spread of music at night.

NOWHERE OR NOW HERE 〝About Place Connectivity〞

/ Description Wa n d e r i n g a ro u n d Ta i p e i , t h e re are always many buildings under construction that cover the familiar old street houses. And this image was taken from my way home, does it represent my memories are getting disappear with the place when the new building is built ?

In the final project, I tried to look at the city from a neutral point of view. No matter is new things or old things, as long as we feel every moment, the people we meet in life, 101 in memory, statues in the park , rainy roads... these memories are enough to form a connection with the place.

Then, I define these two words. Nowhere: in the time of constant change, the state of changing the appearance of the city. Now Here: some memory elements that are connected with the place, allowing people to perceive the state of where i am.

Therefore, in this notation, I try to note people's path when passing through the boundary of the park. These calm lines are the experience of〝nowhere〞, and some framed small spaces are the experience of〝now here〞including the entrance to the park , the high platform for viewing 101, the seat area for people to stay and the luminous high tower.

When I look at this image, I can find that new structures are covered on the facade that I am familiar with. I really like the variability of this temporary city’s appearance, and this will become a place where new memories are stacked, which makes it interesting experience of place connectivity.

16

I hope to create a peaceful boundary space like the city landscape, let people flow and feel freedom.

/ Description A seemingly independent and quiet island, located in the center of the city but hidden on the border of the city. With the light and shadow infiltrated in the shade of the trees, people find their way, slowly get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and look for the city lighthouse that we need to look up to catch a glimpse of when we are down the mountain. Extending the theory of architectural form through sculpture and art theory, and picking up the astronomical watchtower belonging to 2022, as a rethinking of educational places in today's society, it explores the balance b e t w e e n a rc h i t e c t u r a l f o r m a n d function. "Interface" will redefine the relationship between architecture and the external environment, and emphasize the importance of "path". The relationship between the exterior and interior of the building is handled through a fluid path, which carries activities, time and feelings, and guides people how to see everything in the world.

– Detail Model –

In order to achieve the design theory, the main structure, the ruled surface formed by winding two-dimensional steel columns, is drawn inward, and then the ring-shaped structure on the top is connected to the circle through the tension system of the cable. The ring walkway is suspended, and the cables are locked by heavy hammers buried in the ground to achieve the balance of the structure. The above construction method can be used for the educational exhibition mode of the astronomical tower. With the cooperation of the two structural systems, the elasticity of the floor slab is improved, and the hanging astronomical exhibits or the anti-gravity space experience can be realized in the exhibition space. A wrap-around flowing platform that allows visitors to experience the space from different perspectives. In addition, adding the same construction method with different parameters can create similar units but meet the diverse needs of building volume, which responds to the development and conclusion of this theory.

/ Description Cities are diverse because they are a meticulous collection of every person who lives in them, those complex emotions and histories, memories or desires. But how should these invisible urban memories be presented? The meaning of "Hidden City" is to turn out the memory of the invisible city. Dig out the declining theater industry in Dadaocheng, as well as the unique ordinar y life of Dadaocheng, and understand the relationship between special architectural elements such as long street houses, patios and sloping roofs and the region. Therefore, through the passage of the wall, the workers of the film industry can flow on the external streets, interact with foreign tourists, and practice the more flexible working mode today.Participants, workers, and residents of the external neighborhood enter the creation center through different entrances. During the process of flow and interaction, they experience "seeing" and "being seen", as well as the perception of life in it, and feel the so-called invisible city memory.

/ Description With the development of society and the gradual change of work patterns, the nine-to-five life pattern is gradually broken. Slashies can work anytime, anywhere. Coupled with the impact of the epidemic, life and work have become inseparable... Therefore, I want to find It belongs to the way of life of Taipei people. "Houses are not fixed." Through the above analysis, it is understood that Taipei people's changes in living habits have gradually changed from longterm residence to shor t-term use, from family to individual, from buying a house to renting...etc. In addition, the line between work and life is gradually blurring. "Multiple uses in one room" has become a trend, and the emergence of symbiosis houses is in response to today's living patterns. Therefore, this design will tr y to combine working space and living space, connecting Taipei commuter office workers and entrepreneurial slashies, so that people can establish a good balance between work and life.

/ Description Through the continuous development of science and technology and the accumulation of history, Taipei City has been created with the old and the new. Following the development track left by Taipei City, the relationship between the new and the old has been reset. In addition, by analyzing the development of Taipei's streets, urban planning use zoning, and ver tical s e c t i o n s of u r ba n d e v e l o p m e n t , the new and the old on the site are clarified. Amazon is a multinational e-commerce company headquartered in Seattle, USA. Its business started as an online bookstore, and soon its products became diversified. It is currently one of the world's largest online retailers on the Internet. The Amazon office building starts from the site, connects with the gradually declining stores outside, sells products through the Internet, and the physical store serves as the storage space of the office building to achieve mutual benefits.

/ Description Tamsui Old Street, located at the junction of the river and the sea, has a good natural environment and cultural history, which brings a tourism industry. However, how can a peaceful religious belief space coexist with the noisy old street? Through the analysis of the site. It is found that the local living places of residents are gradually replaced by the consumption space of tourists. The tourism industry gradually dominates the Tamsui area, bringing a diverse flow of people, but at the same time, it compresses the space for residents communicating area. The distance between them is getting farther and farther. Therefore, this design will create a "Noah's Ark" belonging to Tamsui Old Street. Through fables, the sacred place will be transformed into the main space type. The fluid floor changes can accommodate all kinds of ethnic groups. The space is publicized, and a highly inclusive church can be presented, which can bring people together and unite people's hearts.

Through four topics: Folding space (origami)/ (wood)/Accidental and inevitable (Cement)/Material grammar (metal, wood, elastic cloth) to train design transformation techniques and spatial perception. 1. Think about the fluidity of the story axis through the flat paintings, and transform the variability of lines into folded spaces. 2. Think about the materiality of wood, and present the abstract elements of wrapping and defensiveness in the heart when people bend their arms and knees, and present them on the appearance of the vehicle. 3. Take the pineapple as the observation object, analyze its growth change, appearance and hole change, and develop a continuous hole unit. When the cement units are stacked, the hole turning effect will appear. 4. By analyzing the detail structure of the case, try to convert it into the detail joint between different materials, and design the movable device to maximize the tension characteristics of the elastic cloth.
