A little piece of France in the Inland Empire If you are looking for good, authentic French Cuisine without having to buy a plane ticket to France, then look no further. Le Bistro in Upland offers authentic French cuisine with a wide variety of food options, in healthy portions, at reasonable prices. You can choose from salads, soups, pastas and sandwiches, to crepes, steaks, salmon and lamb. Of course you cannot forget to try one of their delicious desserts. Le Bistro is located within the Vons Shopping Center on Foothill Boulevard and Euclid Avenue in Upland. They are in the same row as Subway and Cold Stone Creamery. Le Bistro is a French run restaurant by Frank and Laura Lamonica. This quaint little restaurant has

a warm, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Frank Lamonica is the executive chef, while his wife Laura Lamonica is in charge of the dining room. Some of their more popular dishes are the salmon, filet mignon, French onion soup, pretty much any of their crepes, with the ham and Gruyere crepe taking the lead, and their Grand Marnier soufflé. Along with these they also offer a variety of seasonal foods to help keep their ingredients fresh. Their food is made to perfection and their presentation is superb. Since their food is freshly made to order, if you are planning on getting the soufflé for dessert, it is best to order it when ordering your entrée since it takes about 25 minutes to make. However, it is

definitely worth the wait. This place is definitely worth giving it a try, just be sure to check their hours before heading over. Since they are a small, family run restaurant, they do need their time to have lunch themselves and take a little break. Plus, there tends to be a lull of business for French restaurants between 2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., so they are closed during these hours. They are open Monday – Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Tuesday – Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. They are closed on Sundays. The next time you are trying to think of a great place to eat for lunch or dinner, come to Le Bistro. Their French cuisine will having you coming back for more.

The Pizza Chain That Does Pizza Right Dalia’s Pizza the all you can eat pizza (and more) buffet is providing the best quality food in the Inland Empire. The pizza chain was first established in 1990 here in the heart of Rancho Cucamonga as just a carry out and delivery service. The founder, Sam Kaissi, and his wife Tina named the restaurants after their first born child Dalia. With the hard work and the support of the local community the chain expanded its services to cover most of the Inland Empire such as: Azusa, Covina, Upland, Alta Loma, Ontario, Corona, and Moreno Valley. Some locations provide the dine-in and others are committed to the great customer service of carry out and delivery. Dalia’s Pizza in Rancho Cucamonga

had expanded to offer this giant facility to meet with the 21st century demands. The owner, Sam Kaissi and his family along with their architect decided to purchase the one acre lot on the northwest corner of Baseline and Archibald. The building had to endure a complete remodeling to enhance the interior and the exterior and to accommodate nearly 200 guests. The remodeling included: brand new kitchen equipment, plumbing, dining room, conference/party room (seats close to 50 people), modern buffet counters, and elegant restrooms. The exterior was designed by renowned landscapers that provided green and colorful landscape which beautified our city and made our location appealing.

The customers were more than pleased with the variety of food and courteous customer service that was offered in this location. The Grand opening was in May and many people were invited to this immense event. With the help of many city officials, business owners, and families, the red ribbon opening was a great success. Many prizes were handed out, including a 2013 Chevy Spark that was won by a lucky customer. The event was promoted by the Radio Station 99.1 KGGI and hosted by the radio celebrity, Dianna Wehbe and cast. This location provides a variety of daily delicious and fresh food items on the buffet. The manager, chefs, and employees are committed to providing the best healthiest choices of recipes to meet with everyone’s taste. Freshly made gourmet and custom baked pizzas are offered at all times along with the endless salad bar. Lasagna, linguini, stuffed shells, roasted vegetables, garlic bread sticks, baked ziti, bruschetta, cannaloni, caprese salad, eggplant parmesan, and not to mention their endless hot and spicy chicken wings are constantly available . Deserts include: chocolate covered strawberries, cannolis, cupcakes and brownies…to name a few. The old location was merged to the newer building which means this location also offers pickup and delivery services.
