One day at a farm, a strange man appeared.

The farmer asked, “What are you doing here?”

The strange man told him, “I am here to make a deal. The deal is you give me ten gallons of your food and I’ll give you these magical seeds that grow apples.”

The farmer told him yes because he loved apples. The next day, he started to plant the apples. In just an hour, there it was: a huge, tall apple tree. The farmer wasn’t concerned. He wanted to make an apple pie. He told his wife to make it. She was concerned that the tree grew in an hour but still did it. When the sun set, his whole family came and had dinner. His wife told them that the pie was ready. They all had a big slice. Everyone started like they wanted to pass out. They fell asleep and never woke up.
