WHAT HAPPENED TO SUMMER
Here we are rounding the corner to autumn! In Southwest Florida we will soon welcome the return of our northern friends, more fun events, and a little sprinkle of pumpkin spice!
Before we move forward, let’s take a look back at a very busy August 2024, including three big events involving the Lady Bosses at The Ladies Power Lunch:
• Naples Chamber of Commerce “Members Showcase” event at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.
• Gulf Shore Life Women Visionaries reception at Gallery One (I was fortunate to be included with this fine group of local Lady Bosses).
• And finishing up the month was the Inaugural kick-off for the Embellished Fashion Show, the Bayshore Arts District’s new event raising much needed funds to expand the arts scene here in Naples –and open a new 10,000 sq. ft. studio for creators to gather, work and share their art with the public.
In this September issue, we celebrate those events and also introduce our honorary luncheon Ambassadors: Ciera Garell and Greisy Rodrguez. Both are local lady bosses who have been big cheerleaders for The Ladies Power Lunch. What is an ambassador? For us, it’s an honorary designation for one of the monthly lunches. They represent women in business here in Naples, and are the welcome team for our new and returning attendees to the popular event. Each month we will select a new local lady boss to serve as an ambassador.
We want to thank you for supporting The Ladies Power Lunch. Our programs and events are ready for the new season and we cannot wait to share more with you!
