Monitor and respond to information from instruments, driving aids and environment, 7. Control the acceleration of the vehicle effectively, 8. Use gears correctly, 9. Steer the vehicle safely, 10. Manoeuvre the vehicle, 11. Drive the vehicle while towing a trailer, OBJECTIVE: a) The driver must know and demonstrate compliance with the regulations and driving standards governing the carriage of goods in an operational setting; b) The driver must contribute to the protection the Transport operating licences, c) The driver must demonstrate compliance with their obligations under standard contracts for the carriage of goods, d) The driver must use effectively drafted documents which form the transport contract, e) The driver must operate within the rules relating to International transport permits where applicable, f) The driver must comply with their obligations under the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road where applicable, g) The driver must demonstrate compliance with drafted international consignment notes where applicable, h) The driver must comply with Cross borders interactions where applicable, i) The driver must interact effectively with Freight forwarders where applicable, j) The driver must demonstrate effective use of Special documents accompanying goods where applicable.
