NCWorks Online - How to Login as a Job Seeker

On the welcome screen, enter your Username and Password.

Username: First Name + Last Name + Last 5 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) For Example: John Doe (SSN: 111-11-1111) His Username would be: johndoe11111 (Note: The Username is NOT case sensitive.)

Password: ____________________

(staff will verbally provide)

This is the default password. It is case sensitive. Once logged in, you will be prompted to create a new password.

NCWorks Online - How to Login as a Job Seeker If it has been more than 30 days since you last logged into the NC JobConnector system, your account may have been inactivated. If your account has become inactive, you will receive this screen (at right) when you attempt to login.

Click on the CLICK HERE link to contact staff about getting your account activated.

Provide your name and contact information so that staff can reach you about getting your account reactivated.

Hit Send to submit the request.

Next, for security purposes, the system will ask you to provide several pieces of data for verification. These include: Your First Name Your Last Name The Last 4 Digits of Your Social Security Number and Your Date of Birth Once you have entered the necessary information, click the Verify button to continue.

NCWorks Online - How to Login as a Job Seeker REMINDER Write down your New Password and Security Question/Answer to keep for your records.

After you have provided the necessary verification information, the system will now ask you to create a new Password and choose a Security Question and Response.

Password There are a few requirements your new password must meet. It must:  Be between 8-18 characters in length  Include at least one uppercase letter  Include at least one lowercase letter  Include at least one number  Include at least one special character (special characters to choose from are !, @, #, $, %, ^, *, ., _) Security Question Lastly, the system will ask you to choose a Security Question from the list (see image at right), and provide your Response to that question. Be sure to write down your response because if you ever forget your password, the system will attempt to identify you by asking this question. Should this ever occur, you will have to provide the exact same response you are providing now.
