Welcome Welcome to our Spring Season 2020.
I hope you’ve enjoyed visiting our newly refurbished main auditorium in recent months. It’s the first phase of plans to get the building looking its best ahead of our year as City of Culture 2021. Phase 2 starts this year with the redevelopment and expansion of the café and first floor Burbidge Room, to create a new joined up, flexible space that we plan will centre on a stylish new bar with a feature window overlooking Belgrade Square. Visit Belgrade.co.uk/playyourpart to see how you can help support this ambitious project. In the meantime, bars will be open throughout 2020 and we’ll also be experimenting with pop up catering in the foyers. In the meantime, we’ve got a really exciting Spring Season packed with some hugely popular shows like Once, An Inspector Calls, Blood Brothers and SIX. Huge thanks to everyone who has bought Subscription packages and joined our new Membership scheme - I hope you enjoy your benefits and I look forward to welcoming you back to the Belgrade throughout the Spring Season. Hamish Glen, Artistic Director

Corporate Support With a desire to continue building strong relationships with local organisations, the Belgrade Theatre offers a range of opportunities for businesses to support our charitable work. Local businesses account for approximately 20% of the Belgrade’s annual fundraised income which goes toward supporting our community, educational and talent development work.
“As a Coventry business, the majority of our team have been visiting the Belgrade Theatre from a very young age and we are proud to give something back to such an important part of our City.” Neil Mackey, Corporate Account Manager of Inspire Insurance

Please ask about Hearing and Guide Dog spaces when booking. Relaxed Performances are specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment, including people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. Accessible Seats - In the Main Stage we have up to ten accessible seats, some of which are accessible to wheelchair users. Please speak to Box Office when booking. In B2 there is space for two wheelchair users on the ground floor. Lift Access - All public areas are accessible by lifts, which can be found next to the CafĂŠ Bar for the Main Stage, and near the B2 bar opposite Box Office for B2. An infra-red hearing system is installed in both auditoria. Receivers (for use with hearing aids) and headsets (no hearing aid necessary), are available from the merchandise counter and may be reserved at Box Office at the time of booking. A drop-off point for people with limited mobility is available via Upper Well Street at the top of Belgrade Square. The point is clearly signposted and is approx 20m from the B2 entrance.
