SELECTED WORKS
@ NUDES
PREFACE NUDES is an avant garde architecture and design firm in Mumbai. The firm shows particular interest in dynamic forms and challenging structures. As an intern at NUDES I encountered various design challenges which were approached and solved by employing computational design. This book is a collection of selected works along the lines of computational design. Computational design is the application of computational strategies to the design process. While we traditionally rely on intuition and experience to solve design problems, computational design aims to enhance that process by encoding design decisions using a computer language.Computational design is a broad term that encompasses many activities, ranging from design generation to task automation. I’m greatful to Ar.Nuru Karim, Architects and co-interns at NUDES for the experience and knowledge I’ve gained through my internship. Special thanks to Harshvardhan Kedia, Ar.Yash Panchal, Ar.Karan Sharma for encouraging and helping me throughout.
