El primero es la disminución de casos de Covid-19, lo cual se ha conseguido por la puesta en práctica del Tablero Covid, así como otras medidas de bioseguridad. Todo esto se traduce a una disminución de casos y de ocupación de camas para pacientes en estado crítico.
El segundo es el mantenimiento a flote de la economía y convertir a Guatemala en un país “notablemente resiliente”, según información del Fondo Monetario Internacional. Ahora los guatemaltecos se preparan para la desescalada e iniciar la nueva normalidad. “Los protocolos que comenzarán a regir serán muy livianos, para que podamos volver a la normalidad”, destacó el mandatario. Sin embargo, aseguró que no se bajará la guardia y que la vacunación continuará.

Rodrigo Pérez DCA Mundo Con el fin de fortalecer la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional de la población infantil del país, el Gobierno de Guatemala, por medio de autoridades y personal técnico de diversas entidades, impulsan el proyecto Crecer Sano, en siete departamentos. Las acciones persiguen la reducción de la prevalencia de factores de riesgo para la desnutrición crónica, con énfasis en los primeros 1 mil días de vida de los menores de edad.El Ministerio de Desarrollo Social (Mides) ejecuta el proyecto, en conjunto con el Ministerio de Salud y la Secretaría de Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutricional (Sesan).

Prominent Mario Arturo Ruiz, a Guatemalan Doctor in Economics, has obtained national and international awards for his research. Originally from Zacapa, he moved to Guatemala City at an early age and studied economics at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC, state university). Originario de Zacapa, se mudó a temprana edad a la ciudad de Guatemala, estudió Economía en la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala (Usac), donde también estudió japonés, coreano y chino. Asimismo, impartió clases en esa casa de estudios y en la Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
En 1997, Ruiz partió a Japón, al respecto asegura: “Debo estar en constante actualización académica, para estar en un buen nivel en Asia”.

Skydiving, a highaltitude experience María Godoy DCA Mundo Imagine la experiencia de lanzarse al vacío, desde un avión a más de 850 metros de altura y dejarse caer, para luego abrir su paracaídas y observar el paisaje guatemalteco. El paracaidismo es una de las aventuras llenas de adrenalina y emoción que puede realizar en Guatemala. ¡A saltar! En Guatemala podrá realizar caídas libresm entre los 5,000 a los 12,500 pies, así como el wingsuit, una disciplina que le permite lanzarse con un traje con alas. The Asociación Deportiva Nacional de Paracaidismo de Guatemala (National Sports Parachuting Association of Guatemala) and the Guatemalan Army promote this sport. With them, you will find a safe adventure.
Jump In Guatemala, you can free fall from 5,000 to 12,500 feet and wingsuit, a discipline that allows you to jump. If you are not so experienced, you can do the tandem jump, where you will be accompanied and hooked to an expert instructor.
