House of Nuwara is a RTW S/S 23 Women's wear collection, Using the Sri-Lankan Local Heritage craft. Batik was chosen as the local craft.
The concept of this project is - Focusing on the Kandyan Era centered on Sri-Vikrama Rajasingha and in-cooperation of the British Military uniform from the 18th Century and as for the global issue, i selected women's right movement digging deeper into the topic I selected Women's wear in the 1950s.
