“Diya” Spring/Summer 2023 is a high-end women’s wear collection entirely inspired by the roaring 20s
(the 1920s as a whole),garments like low-waisted pants, handkerchief skirts, jackets/cardigans, and the flapper
the dress which was iconic during the time period were the main inspired garments for my collection.
As per the incorporation of the global issue, I did my research based on Discrimination as a whole, along with
a little touch of the famous Indian cultural festival known as,
Diwali (celebrating the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil).
The intention of this collection is to spread awareness & to state that
“Everything is not the same & doesn’t have to be the
same” by bringing out Avant-grande trends and aesthetics to my collection.
