ABOUT ME
Artur Chyra
MSc in Architecture, Eng. During two years of practice I have liaised with architects and engineers in designing residential, commercial and industrial buildings. I engaged in all design phases, from initial client contact and conceptual design, to development of executive documentation. I graduated at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology with a Master’s Degree in the field of Architecture. I have full time job permission in Australia.

Residential Housing complex Wankowicza Street Wroclaw, Poland The subject of the project was to design multi-family residential dwellings which will supplement with surrounding buildings and meet investors requirements. The complex consists of two buildings of similar shape and volume, parking lot and playground for children. The minimalistic design of the buildings underlines the surrounding greenery.

Residential Building Grota Roweckiego 87 Street Wroclaw, Poland The subject of the project was to design multi-family residential building in the southern suburbs of Wroclaw, Poland. The proposed building was designed in a simple rectangular shape. It consist of eight modules containg two apartments each. Apartment layouts where designed to enable the user to implicate his own alterations.

Multi-family Residential complex Gnieznienska Street Wroclaw, Poland The subject of the project was to design multi-family residential complex located nearby the Odra river, in Old Town district of Wroclaw. The complex consists of eight five-storey buildings containing total of 950 apratments. The spaces inside the buildings have formed courtyards allowing sunlight into the apartments and providing relaxation space for the habitants. Because of their geometry, the courtyards lean toward a main pedestrian boulevard leading to the banks of Odra river. It serves as a common space of the complex where the inhabitants can spend their free time, surrounded by interesting architecture and lush greenery.

EXTENSION OF SHOPPING CENTer Bardzka Street Wroclaw, Poland The subject of the project was to design extension of existing shopping center located in southern Wroclaw. The new building provides additional sales area, cafe, restaurant, office open-space and business premises for rent.

Mixed-use building in the suburbs Wroclawska Street Bielany Wroclawskie, Poland The subject of the project was to design residential building with business premises in the groundfloor. The designed building is devided in two parts. Groudfloor space, dedicated for business premises for rent and residential dwellings located on the first floor. The shape of the building was designed to coherently supplement local existing architecture.

Primary school in gaziantep / ma thesis Gaziantep, Turkey The subject of the thesis is the project of primary school in Gaziantep, Turkey. Sculpted shape of the building refers to the topography of the site. The volume of the building and used materials strongly connect with local architecture. The facility was designed for up to four houndred students. The building has been divided into two levels. The lower level links the entrance foyer with the blocks of high-profile activities, sports and gastronomy. The upper level consist of classroom blocks and teachers block with the library. The levels are connected with ramps and stairs which allow to freely move around the building.

rAILWAY STATION PAVILION / Bachelor Thesis Lake Pilchowice, Lower Silesia, Poland The subject of this project is renovation and revitalization of the Pilchowice Zapora railway station and its adaptation to summer pavillion. The buliding consists of a large dining room, toilets and catering facilities. The facility has been designed to give users the possibility of experiencing the surrounding natural environment by closing the building with fixed glass facade. The project also includes the design of the descent into marina, the water equipment shed, sanitary facilities and terraces for the users of marina.

Residential & Office Building Drobnera Street Wroclaw, Poland The subject of the project was to design a mixed-use building which supplements the existing architecture nearby the Odra river. The building has been divided in two parts. The first three floors contain office open spaces for rent whereas top three storeys contain residential dwellings overlooking the City Center of Wroclaw.

The subject of the project was to design rural cultural center which main purpose was encouraging local youth to increased cultural activity. The facility contains multi-functional hall, workshop rooms, library, office space, cafe and restaurant . It has been designed using local materials in order to emphasize building’s particular location.

Wall HOUSE Kromera Street, Wroclaw, Poland The subject of the project was to design a student apartment in a two-meter wall located by the Odra river. It provides 22 square meters of economic and efficient space, allowing comfortable and affordable living in attractive near-river location.
