Luckily, we’ve come a long way as the Season 44 premiere has a perfect mixture of brains, brawn and bravado. From a former NFL player to a NASA engineering student, 18 strangers test themselves against the elements, the challenges and each other to see who can hold on to win the $1 million prize. True Lies

Inspired by James Cameron’s hit action/comedy film of the same name, this series premiere follows Harry Tasker (Steve Howey), a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen (Ginger Gonzaga), a language professor bored with her daily routine, who is shocked to discover that her seemingly dull husband is leading a double life. Omega recruits Helen, who impresses everyone with her formidable skills (thanks to Tae Bo and yoga), and the duo embark on covert missions around the globe.
