NEW NARVA EX2 LED LAMPS
Combining
performance and personalisation
Narva says its exciting new range of EX2 LED driving lamps combine outstanding lighting performance, durability, and a wide range of colour customisation options to help create a unique and stunning vehicle look.
The EX2 LED lamps replace Narva’s popular ‘Explora’ range and are available in four, six, seven and nine-inch diameters, providing users with exceptional lighting output and model choice to suit their application.
Further helping owners to customise the appearance of their vehicles, EX2 lamps come standard with two interchangeable trim colours (Electric and Slate) with a further six trim colours available (Sunburst, Volcano, Juiced, Hyper, Bubblegum and Stealth) to order online at no extra cost.
Narva says the expectation of any of its products is an impressive light output and long-term reliability in the toughest conditions and applications, and in this regard it states the EX2 range doesn’t disappoint.
All lamps feature high power 5W ‘Cree’ LEDs that deliver an intense hybrid beam pattern, providing strong lighting penetration and width without dark spots or hot spots.
Output per pair ranges from 6,590 raw lumens and 4,520 effective lumens for four-inch models (producing one Lux at 220m), through to 27,200 raw lumens and 19,400 effective lumens for the nine-inch variants, to help produce impressive performance of one Lux at 700m.
Another notable benefit of the EX2 range is its ease of installation for the DIY enthusiast. The lamps’ revolutionary internal switching system (patent pending) does away with the need for a wiring harness or for any connecting wires to pass through the firewall.
In many cases, such as with positive switched vehicles, the lamps are simply patched into the high beam wire and fuse directly to the battery – meaning that only three wires need to be connected to be up and running.
Designed, engineered and tested in Australia, Narva says the EX2 range is built to withstand demanding local conditions.
Helping the lamps’ reliability and performance is a tough, pressure die-cast aluminium housing and “virtually unbreakable,” UV resistant, hard-coated polycarbonate lenses.
The lamps are also sealed to IP68 and IP69K for water and dust ingress.
Additionally, with an adaptive tread design, the SportContact 7 can react to changes in both dry and wet road conditions, ensuring precision handling and strong control characteristics – even at high speeds.
“The Continental SportContact 7 is a truly groundbreaking entry to the ultra-high-performance tyre sector, proving again and again to be leading the category in tyre tests across the board,” Continental Tyres Australia Managing Director, Mitchell Golledge, said.
The SportContact 7 is now available for purchase at all major Australian tyre retailers. For more information, visit www.continental-tires.com/car/tires/sportcontact-7
Lightweight yet extremely durable composite mounting brackets and stainless-steel mounting hardware further add to the durability.
Once fitted, simple tilt adjustment using an Allen key will soon have the lamps in their optimum position.
The new Narva EX2 LED driving lamps are backed by a generous seven-year ‘no fault’ warranty (see website for details) and can be purchased from leading automotive, four-wheel drive and transportation outlets nationwide.
Narva will grow the EX2 range in the months ahead with the launch of accompanying LED light bar models.
