The project AASHAYEIN “Raising a helping hand” is an initiative of AIESEC in Indore where different nationalities would come together for 6 weeks to create a mini globe of knowledge and diversity for the students and underprivileged Kids AASHAYEIN, a platform where we Invite Interns from different lifestyles to come together for the cause of Education. Through this project we intend to create an opportunity for people to come forward and involve oneself to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. It’s a Project for the celebration of Education. It’s not just a project that completes in couple of weeks. It’s a step towards literacy. Every child will get quality education very soon. This project involves 50 EPs in the most diversified manner from different corners who will be working together to bring a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged children by providing them a piece of hope in their road to education. Job Description 1: Research: The intern must research extensively on underprivileged children in India using the internet and books. The intern will visit several underprivileged communities. The intern will learn about their situation through interaction with the community.
Job Description 2: Documentation: The intern will record their research in the form of reports.
Job Description 3: Documentary: The intern will record videos at field trips etc. and produce a documentary (along with other interns) before leaving for their home country.
Job Description 4: Spreading Awareness: The intern will disseminate information among society by the means of discussion groups: formal and informal, Organizing Events and taking active part in concerned activities.
Job Description 5: Giving cultural presentations, Teaching Children Basic English explaining health and hygiene living, teaching moral values to children and impacting their lives.
