Photography Hobbies and Interests / China Cafe
Digital camera ? Pro Zoomer ? DSLR ? In fact, it is not a problem for a photographer. Since I have taken the Photography course in the AAMPD programme, I knew that the skill of taking photos is the most important of all . The type and model of the camera is secondary . Many people think that taking photo is so easy. It is not true.If you want to become a proffessional photographer, you have to pay attention to the composition, exposure, lighting etc... There are some photos which were part of the assignment of the Photography course. It is about an old restaurant in Hong Kong . This is a black and white photos series. I think that it can show the old school and vintage feel of the cafe.

Foods Hobbies and Interests / My Suggestions Tim Ho Wan, The Dim-Sum Specialists Mong Kok
Enjoying foods is everyone’s interest, also mine. I always go to find some delicous foods for enjoying with my family and friends. It is Michelin Foodguide’s suggestion. Enjoying tea and Dim-sum can learn more about Chinese culture. I realized that the chef has a big expertise in making dumpling skins.They are very soft. It provides a popular price. The Dim-Sum are really delicious. There are many people everyday. If you want to try the Dim-Sum in there,you need to wait for at least 2-3 hours.

Vero Chocolates Wan Chai Some people may drink milk tea or a coffee when they fall asleep. For my choice, chocolate is more useful. It makes me relaxable and happy. When I am working hard with my textbook or assignment, chocolate is my partner. Vero Chocolates is my only choice for enjoying chocolate. The 70% dark hot chocolate is very famous. The location of the shop is near the Fenwick Pier.

MACAU Hobbies and Interests / Travelling Travelling is my favourite hobby. It make me feel free and wonderful. Last summer, I went to Beijing. This year, I come to China again. This station is Macau. Macau is situated at the Pearl River Delta on the southeast coast of Mainland China, 60km southwest of Hong Kong. The total land area of 29.2 kmsuperscript consists of the Macao Peninsula and the islands of Taipa and Coloane. The Macao Peninsula is linked to the Taipa Island by three bridges and the two islands are linked by the CoTai reclamation area.

Macau, it is an amazing place to me in 2010. I have won twice lucky draw before. It provide the shipping tickets of Macau. I went to Church of St. Paul. It was inducted on the World Heritage List in July 2005. During Chinese New Year, the Asian Arts Festival and other occasions a stage is set up in the square for various performances. Anyway, Macau is a great place for taking a rest.

歲月神偷 終於看了歲月神偷, 中規中矩之作。故事還有點老土, 但總算不強使人流淚.鞋 字半邊難, 鞋字半邊佳 。足以成為金句。散場過後, 眼淚過後, 有點想法分享一下。 保育的問題, 因為在國際上奪了獎便改變原定的保育計劃。可見特區政府制度 何等朝令夕改, 辦事何等雜亂無章。保育不是一朝一夕的事, 是一生一世甚至無間的 事。單是保留永利街有何用 ? 是的話, 整個中上環也保留下來。誰也明白既要保留 舊時代的產物,又要符合經濟利益是很困難的一件事。但這正正是你們的工作, 不然 高薪是白支的。 做人, 總要信。核心價值的問題, 導演羅啟悅說這戲是反映那五、六十年代的 香港風貌和港人精神。現在這群常被批評為激進的八十後要參考一下, 我對此有保 留。我不否定咬緊牙關, 很多事也能撐過去。但此一時不同彼一時, 遊戲規則和經濟 結構都同步轉移; 我們實在不可能再同日而語。不是想爭辯或是護短什麼, 每個年代 的人也有他們要面對的事。我們實在不可以事事也以同一種方程式去拆解比以前社 會更複雜的事。 歲月偷走了我們的青春、親人、朋友。然而, 偷不了我們的記憶、偷不去人間 的情。謝謝這套戲讓我們記起曾經走過的艱苦日子, 知道今天得來的不易; 要懂得感 恩、要懂得珍惜。

MM’S Eye Prose / City of Life and Death
南京!南京! 在入場前沒閱過太多的影評,只知道是和日軍侵華,尤南京大屠殺的歷史有關。在 看罷後,心情很沉重,也明白它不止和歷史掛鈎這麼簡單。本來期望會有和雷霆救兵 或珍珠港的搶灘之類戰爭大場面,結果是失望。但卻有更多的反思,對歷史的反思。 說過回來,這影畫戲用黑白的手法拍攝。更寫實,更能重現當時的面貌,是一讚。更 顯莊嚴,悲傷及尊重,是二讚。根壓兒沒有色彩配得上這段史實。有云這部電影為那 些參與大屠殺的日本士兵開脫罪行,中川英雄演的角色惹來很大爭議。然而我認為 卻沒甚麼不妥。很簡單的例子,也引伸出說明為何中國人仍對日本的侵略耿耿於懷, 是他們輸不起。輸打贏要,看看德國人對待昔日屠殺猶太人的態度,為過去負責,為所 犯的錯誤道歉,為不可挽回的罪行內疚。 還有一點的是,跟網絡的影評英雄所見略同。其實導演早已分派了一個角色給了我 們 - 小豆子。讓我們在這戰爭中,貫穿著整套電影經歷了生離死別,憤怒,絕望和恐懼 ,並在末段因僥倖不死而揭斯底里地笑。小豆子在活著,觀眾們也活著,如戲中角川所 說:活著不比死去難受。 人類總會不斷犯錯。歷史正是鏡子,一面古今中外共治一爐的鏡子,為過去走錯的 路反省。

東邪西毒終極版 最近看了很多电影,有商業片,有文藝片;也有回帶的舊片。但沒有一套比它來得印象深刻 來得發人深省 。它就是王家衛的東邪西毒終極版。 王的电影從來也有一種自我沉溺,癡情,自傷的味道。自己也是一喜歡,便越看越喜歡 。 需要細心咀嚼其韻味,而且每看多一次心中的迴響便越大。阿飛正傳,重慶森林,花樣年華都 很有共鳴 。 但我更愛東邪西毒,整戲四字以敞之: 愁,恨,悔,怨。不過今天想談的不是戲評,只是有點 兒感慨,想分享一下個人感受 。 先是看到銀幕上一眾演員確是令人心中有無限的感慨,張國榮,梁朝偉,林青霞,張曼玉,張 學友,劉嘉玲,楊采妮,梁家輝 。 ALL-STAR-CAST. 位位獨當一面的巨星。今時今日,此情 不再,亦難以齊集同等份量的卡士。尤其哥哥的面孔,令人不止懷念,並且神傷。 還有 Ashes of Times這英文名:時間的灰燼。也許這才是電影真正的名字 ,那麼文藝 那麼懷舊,那麼悵然。我知道,戲中那後山有甚麼也沒關係了。特別是這半年來,過得太糟糕 了 。 因為當一個人不快樂,去到哪兒都改變不來。去到哪裡都會感覺孤獨淒清,人最大的 煩惱,就是記性太好。 如果什麼都可以忘掉,以後的每一天將會是一個新的開始。那你說這有多開心,的確無錯 記性太好,的確很辛苦。更辛苦的是,你仍像活在過去中。活在過去中還分為兩種:一類是活 在美好的回憶中,沉溺在昔日光輝,快樂,難忘的時光。 12 Text and Photos by Marco Mak
最佳的例子莫過於白先勇的臺 北人中的故事中全部主角。全都 懷念著往時在中國大陸的風光日 子。 更實體的例子便是現在不少的 香港人,他們思念的是港英年代的 制度。是港英的政治手段, 讓港人 享有安定繁榮,自信如日中天。 那時的港人,穿金戴銀,趾高氣揚 。一邊今朝有酒今朝醉,一邊心想 明天會更好。 而二者的共通點無疑是一樣的, 都是今不比昔。現在不如意,才懷 念舊時。 到底是否因為己得到過最好,便 拒絕和難以習慣及適應比往日褪 色的日子? 另外一類便是過去活得太苦,至 今仍擺脫不了那魔壓。或在午夜 夢迴時飽受煎熬, 忘不了悲痛。 無論如何努力也存著陰影,現實裡 賣力掩飾,實際上他們的背後是耿 耿於懷的自傷,背負包袱;終生不得 安寧,以上兩類人皆是身不由己。 怪便怪他們記性太好,所以不 快樂。有謂一樣米,養百樣人,所 以每個人的性格特點也不同。
中也寫道:已去之事不可留,已逝 現代人總害怕責任 束縛 剩下 之情不可戀。能留能戀,就沒有 的只有埋恕 遺憾 難道真的人 今天。 心不古?
我認為之所以每個人的性格 都不同, 是因為每個人都有不同 的執著。有些人堅持某些事情, 在旁人看起來是浪費時間。他 自己卻覺得很有價值正是這份 堅持,致使每人的性格不同。
另外,最近方大同翻唱的紅豆 林夕的歌詞歷久不衰: 有時候 有時候 我會相信一切有盡頭 相聚離開 都有時候 沒有甚麼 會永垂不朽...
然實情是,性格怪僻孤傲如我 也不緊要。做人一定要拿得起 放得低。知易行難,學會放手的 本事卻不是人人都懂。 新聞紙上久不久便會出現為 愛徇情的新聞, 要明白除了日月 星辰外,沒甚麼是永恆。 亦舒在花常好月常圓人長久
承諾,現代人只承不諾, 兌現不 了的支票還是支票嗎? 深愛的人未必能執子之手,與 子偕老。命運同緣份一樣,離奇 錯模。
我不是不相信愛情,不是不相 信婚姻,也不是憤世嫉俗,不食人 一紙婚書只係代表兩夫婦從此 間煙火。 成為建立家庭事業拍擋而已。 只是盲婚啞嫁,父母之命說是 封建,身不由己。難道自由戀愛 又好幸福? 離婚率有增無減。
愛不止是承諾,是一種態度,是 尊重雙方的態度。 在甚麼年代亦然。

Futura! Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed between 1924 and 1926 by Paul Renner. It is based on geometric shapes that became representative visual elements of the Bauhaus design style of 1919-1933. This is a typography poster of the typography assignment.I use the black and red color and the circle and square be the main elements.

Go ahead! This is my T-shirt Design. As what I mention before, I like taking photos. So I used the camera graphic on the T-shirt.Also there is a tongue in the camera. It shows that I am creative. Designing a T-shirt about myself is not only interesting, also can know more about myself. It is because it need a brain-stroming. Anyway, I will try my best on my design work in the coming soon.

What do you think? This is my book cover of the photography course’s assignment. It shows the night of the Hong Kong street Art. When I am doing research of this project, i find that there are so many interesting name of the street. Also I took so many photos of the street during different time. I enjoy the project. I enjoy taking photos. I enjoy design.

Logo Presentation Board
Mr Steak Buffet a la minute. Have you tried it before? Nevermind. It is a restaurant which provide steak and buffet in Hong Kong. I have done a CI project about it. I need to redesign a logo of the company. I think that the T can present the steak. So that I design the T become longer. It looks like the steak. And for the color, I use the color in orange. It is because the juice of the beef and steak is onion juice. So it is color in orange.
