The Benefits of “Paperless” Reporting:
“Paperless” reporting is an evolution from traditional manual reporting. Inspectors log all information in a more efficient and detailed manner into a mobile computer, eliminating interpretation and data entry errors inherent in other methods. In the final signed report, each photo and its accompanying defect description as well as relevant sketches are printed on a single page. When exported as an Excel spreadsheet, defects can be located in searches based on defect type, severity or location.

Industrial Rope Access (IRA) is an extremely safe and efficient solution to the challenges of work at height, combining unparalleled versatility with a minimal environmental footprint. This two-rope system is used worldwide as a viable alternative to the more encumbered swing scaffold typically used on high-rise buildings. Rather than the make-work of constructing counterweighted davits from which to hang a work platform, ropes are attached to suitable anchors and trained, certified workers equipped with specialized harnesses and hardware ascend/ descend to the work site. Work scopes for necessary repair work can be more accurately defined by reviewing work needed by area, adding to overall efficiency.
Proprietary software allows a report to combine pictures of any defects with the inspector’s observation comments. Once logged, a legal, tamperproof, formatted document is generated. This report can be printed, e-mailed or exported as an Excel document, perfect for searching or integrating with many other maintenance and report programs.
