Aaron Oesterle
Iowa State University Undergraduate Architecture and Design Portfolio Selected work from 2011-2015
I am a passionate designer, who is driven and motivate to exceed expectation. I carry the weight of a family man and understand the importance of balance. I have respect for failure because it pushes me to explore new opportunities.
Give me a firm spot on which to stand, and I shall move the earth.

Entrance
The Urban Forest will function as a magnet for the community. Inspired by the layers of the forest, the community complex utilizes a multi-level system to encourage human interaction and movement above street level. The layering continues into environmental concerns. A shading canopy creates varying patterns of shade throughout the day while water links across multiple levels serving as a social link and evaporative cooling.
