Aaron Rossi
Dr. Aaron Rossi is a physician and entrepreneur who obtained his medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in 2012 after graduating from Elmhurst College in 2006. While still in medical school, Dr. Rossi discovered a passion for managing private medical practices, which has driven his career path ever since. He has served in various roles throughout the healthcare industry, including developing a successful model for private practice management that helped grow a Central Illinois single-provider practice into a multi-specialty group with a quadrupled revenue in less than four years. In 2018, Dr. Rossi purchased PAL Health Technologies, a national prescription custom foot and ankle orthotic fabrication laboratory that has been operating for over forty years. In June 2019, he founded Reditus Laboratories, LLC, initially focusing on dermatopathology and histology with only eight employees. Later that year, Reditus acquired its first RT-PCR machine to accurately diagnose soft tissue and wound infections and added PCR testing for infectious diseases to its test menu. In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, prompting Aaron Rossi to answer the nation's call by temporarily shifting production at PAL from custom orthoses to face shields for first responders and hospital systems throughout the United States. Reditus Laboratories also rapidly deployed PCR COVID-19 testing nationwide, partnering with notable organizations such as United States Customs and Border Patrol, Smithfield Foods, Illinois Department of Corrections, OSF Healthcare, and several universities. By November 2020, Reditus was collecting and performing 12,000 tests per day, working as a subcontractor for eTrueNorth and supplying all test collection kits while processing thousands of PCR tests for the federal government at multiple locations across the United States.
