The theme QUINTESSENCE explores the unlimited when it comes to self expression, at the most basic and superfluous level. Combining the trend of the ‘urban yogi’ and ‘peacock preeening’, this seasonal story inspires flowing silhouettes with airs and flairs. Ensembles that allow one to prance and parade, with the obvious evidence of comfort, both in body and mind. Adding to the sensationalism that the current new demand, is the art of fabric manipulation creating visual interest through cascading ruffles, layered pleats and gathers. Yoga inspires trends in print such as ‘graphic marble’ that represents fluidity and serenity. The raw organic feel comes alive through ‘scratched surface’ prints.
