o you ever feel worried about not having a boyfriend or thinking that you can’t be friends with boys? ? Sometimes girls are so busy with school, sports and friends that having a boyfriend is the last thing on their minds. But, what if we still want to be friends with boys without the drama of a boyfriend? No problem! Here are some benefits on simply being friends with boys:

F RI E NDS WI T H BO Y S rama? What drama? Sometimes it can be easier to talk to guys than girls because you don’t have to worry about possible gossip or being judged unfairly by what you say. Guys tend to be more laidback than girls, so if you tell your guy friend something, he is less likely to get caught up in it emotionally or make a big deal out of it.

Brilliant Eye Makeup Tips For all eye colors. Whether you’re a blue-eyed girl looking for tips to make your blues sparkle, a brown-eyed girl seeking ways to make your browns brilliant, or a green, hazel or grey-eyed girl, we have some magic eye makeup tricks to enhance your natural eye color. Blue Eyes Add a little lavender to the outer corner of your eyes, then lightly brush a glowing gold shadow on the lids of your eyes. Pink is also a great color for blue eyes. A dash of glitter and a soft, pastel pink shadow will give you an angelic, daytime look. Blue eyes work best with neutral colors, pinks, white eye shadow or shimmer, and a little glitter. A thin line of brown eyeliner, highlighting the line of your lashes, will give your eyes a fresh, awake look. For blue eyes, try to avoid too dark of colors. Very dark colors could create the effect that your eyes look sunken in. Green Eyes To intensify yur green eyes, lightly outline the creases of your eyelids with a richer colored shadow. Shade your lids with a sun-kissed shadow, such as; bronze, copper or gold, to make your green eyes brilliantly stand out. The best eyeshadow colors to use for a sweet, clean look are; warm, earth-toned colors, light peach, apricot, and softer golds and bronzes. When choosing colors for your green eyes, try to avoid using light blues, pinks, white or silver. Hazel Eyes The best eyeliners for hazel eyes all depend on whether you want your eyes to appear greener or bluer. Toss your black eyeliner aside and switch it up! To make your hazel eyes look greener, apply a greyish-purple or taupe liner.
Deep navy blue, rich browns, purple and gold eyeshadow compliment hazel eyes beautifully. When choosing blue shadow, try sticking to deeper blues that don’t have a blue-grey tone.
Blue Eyes
Brown Eyes The best thing about having brown eyes is that they can virtually pull off any darker hued color. Brown eyes look amazing with a slightly thicker line of black eyeliner. Apply a thicker line of black liner that follows the crease of your eyelashes. Also, draw a thinner line on your bottom lids.
Green Eyes
If you prefer a lighter color, peach and light brown work great for brown eyes. Apply a thin layer of black eyeliner on your bottom lid and accentuate your brown eyes with a luscious plum shadow. Apply a glowing gold to the crease of your eyelid Grey Eyes Deep, chocolate browns can give grey eyes a green or turquoise effect, while neutral-tone shadows make your eyes look bluer. Luscious lashes can brighten your grey eyes and make them look larger. Apply black mascara on your lashes and brush on a greyish-blue shadow to enhance the grey in your eyes. For a smoky look, apply charcoal shadow to your lids.
Sources; For a softer, yet bright-eyed look, apply a little bit of light brown eyeliner on your bottom lid http://www.lovelyish.com/765474407/eyeand a brush or two of dark brown mascara. makeup-tips-for-every-eye-color/ After applying the eyeliner and mascara, lightly cover your eyelids with a cheek or face bronzer. Typically, a cheek or face bronzer has a more vibrant glow.

Lavendars and shimmery golds make your baby blues pop!
To intensive your natural green eyes, try applying a darker, richer color, like plum or burgundy in the outer corner of your eyes.
Hazel Eyes Try a deep purple liner to make your eyes resemble the blues of the ocean.
Brown Eyes Deep purples and bold, shimmery golds can make any browneyed girl’s eyes stand out.
Grey Eyes Like hazel eyes, adding a splash of color to your eyes all depends on what color you want your eyes to resemble.

create a time capsule b ur y you r me mo r ies in a box an d di g the m up in 20 years!
Written by Casey O’Brien
These are changing times. Life’s barreling down the highway, full-speed, no brakes. You can’t stop it, but you can take a snapshot of it while it whizzes by. To capture it, why not try to cram your life, as it is now and will never be again, into a shoebox to bury in the backyard and dig up in a few years? Here are some suggestions. Remember, you’re trying to capture who you are at this point in time, so don’t be afraid to get creative! A Mix CD of your current favorite songs. The ones you’ve got on repeat. The ones you keep the radio on, waiting for. Pictures. A picture is worth (and takes up much less space than) a thousand words. Magazine clippings of clothes that resemble your style. Or, the style you would have if you were a gazillionare living in a fashion capital. Lists. Your top five movies. Your best friends. Your favorite scents. Three words that you’d use to describe your life. Your top three school crushes (don’t hold back; the only person who will see this is future you, and who cares if she laughs?). “What if” questions. If I could travel anywhere, it would be_____________. If I could live in any TV show, it would be_____________. The most recent page from your diary. Or, the last online conversation you had. A poem about what it feels like to wake up being you every day. What’s good? What’s funny? What’s weird? What makes you think? Your footprint, stamped on paper with paint, mud, or whatever squishy material you’d like! A map of your neighborhood. Who are your neighbors? What shortcuts do you take? Where have you made memories?

ife is happening and you want to be there for it. That makes sense. Soon enough you’ll be making your own choices, but right now is a different story. It’s a sweet, small world, even if it doesn’t always seem that way, and you and your parents have to live in it together. 36

he least you can do is try to make it easier for each other. Trust that your parents aren’t saying no just for the fun of saying no, and give them more reasons to say yes. Play by the rules and hopefully you’ll be rewarded with a little more freedom.
The Rules:
1
Be trustworthy. you don’t have to tell your parents every single thing. You’re allowed to have secrets. But, if you tell your family that you’re going to be somewhere, be there. If you have a curfew, be home on time. If you’re having trouble in math class, tell your parents before they get the progress report in the mail.
2
Use your head. you’re smart. If you know something is stupid, even if everyone else is doing it, don’t do it. That is easier said than done, but you just have to remember that there will be other adventures. If you get caught or hurt doing something you shouldn’t have, there will be plenty more times you’ll miss out on than just this once. “Grounded for life” sound familiar? That’s no good, girl.
3
Give. as boring as it might be to stay in for movie night or go to the grocery store with them, your parents just want to spend time with you. If you’re always with your friends, they might feel like they are losing you and try to pull you closer. So, just help out with dinner, tell your mom about your day at school, go for a short family walk with the dog. Let them know that you still care about them, but that you need to do your own thing as well. 37

WRITE ON YO U R R O O M
Fun ways t chalkboar o use i n y o u r b ed p a i n t droom.
Chalkboard paint continues to be a hot trend, but the whole “wall as a chalkboard” thing is far from original. Now it’s time to turn it up a notch by being inventive with what you paint. No surface is safe! Here are four ideas of creative ways to use chalkboard in your room!
1. Paint the outside of your door. You don’t need a sign on your door
when the whole thing is a giant chalkboard! Shh—homework in session! Stay out—this means YOU little bro! Write as many messages as you want. Or here’s another idea—have your friends sign your door whenever they visit.
2. Dress up your headboard. Most bed headboards are so boring!
Now you can have a fun place to rest your head, and you can write on it. So ya know, if you have a really great idea in the middle of the night, you can just reach for a piece of chalk and jot it down.
3. DIY chalkboard frames. Get big thick picture frames and paint the
edges with chalkboard paint. You can then personalize the frames with special messages—BFF forever. Or change out the message as often as you want (just in case forever turns out to be two weeks).
4. Create a desktop to doodle on! You won’t need Post-it notes when
you have a whole desktop as a chalkboard. You can use it to figure out those tough math problems or just for doodling. Bull dog print can be purchased at Great Big Canvas (www.greatbigcanvas.com)
