PORTFOLIO,2020

Hi! I’m a third year (sem VI) interior design student from GLS Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. I’m an enthusiastic, young and hard-working student with good orientation and leadership skills. I’ve had an eye for colours and patterns since childhood. I believe in the power of design and design process, that helps giving a visual language to the space and create experiences that are over-whealming and surreal. I’ve always found it efficient to conquer over small goals to achieve bigger goals. I see the world full of opportunities and don’t believe in confining myself to anything.

ELEMENTS OF FORM

The top surface links every surface height variation together into a sing form.

To understand the properties of a material and explore how diffrent treatments and arrangements can be done to it, so as to achieve a stable and functional form for architectural and interior spaces.

The thickness of the plaster becomes and more dense in areas where struc stresses are higher.

ESA

INITIAL EXPLORATIONS

The asymmetrical form appears to change dramatically as we view them from different angles and perspectives.

PROCESS OF MAKING THE FORM

and gle

s more ctural

Material : plaster of paris in plastic bag. over a cloth piece and over polythene bags

Plan view of how a linear arrangement of objects, can generate such a different form, when the plaster holds onto the curves and folds of the plastic sheet spread.

The exterior wall surfaces create controlled interior, while small openings re-establish contunity with the exterior space.
