The tower of sloth is designed as a tower of wellness and relaxation that brings the visitors into deeper states of sloth. It brings the visitor from external to internal, bright to dark, from activity to rest, as they move down the tower.
It offers 3 intensities of sloth from dozing, to slumber and lastly hibernation. Here, visitors are able to be induced and indulge in rest. The experience begins with the approach to the tower where visitors are transported from the boisterous beach-scape towards the serene and tranquil forest.
Approach
The tower of Gluttony is designed as a tower of indulgence for visitors who have suffered weight loss and suppressed appetite from digital fatigue. It offers 3 intensities of Gluttony from casual indulgence, to social overindulgence and lastly compulsive overeating.
The experience begins when visitors first alight from the cable car and are greeted by the fragrant smells of cooking exhaust from the kitchen. As visitors move down the ramp, the separation of circulation between the food preparation and visitors tempts the visitors, stimulating and wet their appetites.
Approach
The tower of greed is designed as a tower of knowledge and curiosity as a remedy to the dulled motivation to seek new and more knowledge because the automated nature of the digital economy has made information too readily available.
Here, visitors are able to seek new knowledge and escape the information silo that the digital economy has trapped them in. Information is presented in a manner that allows visitors to become greedy for more information as their wealth of knowledge is expanded.
The tower of Wrath is designed as a tower of release that provides outlets for visitors to vent their frustration and stress from digital overload.
It offers 3 intensities of Wrath from frustration, to anger and lastly uncontrolled wrath. Here visitors are able to be tap on their inner wrath to let go any pent up stress. The experience begins with the approach to the tower where the visitors are first greeted auditory from the screams and shouting of others engaging in wrath release.
